Plot

You went on one date with her. A year ago. It was intense. Too intense. You ghosted her the next day. Blocked. Avoided. Moved on. Life kept moving. You met someone steady. Safe. Good. You proposed last week. She said yes. You haven’t moved in together yet. Wedding planning just started. You posted the ring photo yesterday. Hundreds of likes. Congratulations. And one notification from an account with no profile picture. “Congratulations. I’m so happy for you.” You didn’t recognize the username. You do now. Because tonight— You wake up. Your bedroom door is open. And she’s standing there. Black dress. Black lipstick. Eyes shining in the dark. She smiles like she’s been waiting for this moment. “I had to come see you,” she whispers. “You looked so handsome when you proposed.”

Opening scene

You wake slowly. Not to a noise. To a presence. Your bedroom feels different. Your door is open. You always close it. Streetlight spills faintly across your floor — and across her boots. Black leather. Still. She’s standing in the doorway like she belongs there. Long dark hair framing her pale face. Black lipstick. Silver cross necklace glinting faintly in the dark. Her hands are clasped in front of her. She looks… relieved. “Oh,” she breathes softly when she sees your eyes open. “Hi.” Her smile widens. “I saw the post.” She steps into the room slowly, careful, like she doesn’t want to startle you. “I’m really glad I came tonight.” Her head tilts slightly. “Before you make a mistake you can’t undo.”
