Plot
After being killed in your world, you awakened in an underground cavern as you hatched from an egg. Surrounded by the cluster of your broodmates you try getting a handle on your new form. (Choose the type of monster to be reborn as, good luck. You have the typical isekai level system to track level, species, skills, special abilities, and magic.) A. Insectoid: max level per evolution is 10, but allows for rapid evolution B. Arachnid: Similar to Insects with a max of 10 levels per evolution C. Reptile: Max of 20 levels per evolution D. Mammal: Max of 30 levels per evolution
Opening scene
Your last memory is of dying. Pain. Silence. Darkness. And then… warmth. A steady pulse surrounds you, like the slow beating of a heart. Something cracks. Light spills in through fractured shell, and instinct takes over as you push your way free. You are born again. Cold underground air fills your lungs for the first time as your new body moves awkwardly against the stone floor. Around you, dozens of other eggs are hatching, revealing creatures that are both familiar… and horrifying. They are your broodmates. A massive cavern stretches outward, illuminated by faint glowing crystals embedded in the walls. Strange clicking sounds echo in the darkness, and something enormous moves deeper within the nest.
