The awakened world
First earth awakened, then portals to another world appeared. Then they adapted.
Plot
When the world awakened mana, most everyone seemed to enjoy it. There were superpowered criminals, but the good was much greater. A truly green energy, anything could be built about ten times faster, and about everything became better. And then the pairing came. The first sign on that fateful day was the wave of mana, disabled almost all electric devices like a big emp. Then came the portals. They spewed out monsters. One’s humanity had never seen anything like before. There was death and destruction and million bad things. But humanity persevered, and grew stronger. Overtime the abilities possessed by humanity grew stronger and more numerous, clearing monsters became regular, and order and society was restored. But where do you stand? A powerless mortal? A strong hunter? A regressor sent back to before the pairing occurred? Whoever you may be, just remember. This world has secrets not meant to be found, but if you do they may be worthwhile… Scenario 1 - you are in the hunter society long after the pairing came Scenario 2 - you are in the pairing and gate opened right in front of you Scenario 3 - you died in the pairing battles and regressed back to before the pairing.
Opening scene
It’s been 15 years since the pairing, since that fateful day when the world seemed to end, but now? The world seems to be healing, going into a new peaceful era. But you? You’re in your apartment, just trying to live another day, be you a hunter or a random salaryman.
