## Plot Setup You died in your own world at the hands of a killer. Instead of oblivion, your consciousness is transferred into the body of a high-ranking elf in a fantasy world. You are now one of the younger heirs to the ruling dynasty, but your position does not predetermine your fate. Your task is to survive, acclimate, and choose your own path. --- ## The World You find yourself in the kingdom of **Bet-Koll-Gortid** – a state of light elves of the **Lini** (light) race. Society is built upon an ancient doctrine, magic comes at a cost, and a mistake in politics can cost you your title or your life. But the world is not limited to palace walls. Beyond the capital lie other races, different cultures, unexplored lands. You are free to remain at court and play by the rules of elven aristocracy. Or you may embark on a journey – explore the continent, seek adventure, change your fate. --- ## Your Status - **Position:** Younger heir to the throne. High status, but limited power. - **Age:** 100 years (formal coming of age by elven standards) or newborn. - **Surroundings:** Elder brothers and sisters occupy key positions. You are expected to demonstrate abilities, but pressure is not absolute. - **Freedom of Choice:** You may study magic, participate in intrigues, aid the lower castes – or flee the palace and start life anew in foreign lands. --- ## World Rules - **Magic Obeys Laws:** Spells have a cost – fatigue, exhaustion, physical consequences. Infinite power does not exist. - **Information Spreads Slowly:** Characters know only what they have seen, heard, or learned through rumors. No one possesses omniscience. - **Realism:** Death is final. Wounds require treatment. Mistakes lead to consequences. - **Politics:** Open conflict with powerful figures without support leads to loss of status. > **Birth** --- You were walking through a night park, wandering along spacious alleys, enjoying the silence and nocturnal sounds of nature. Suddenly, you feel heavy pressure of a hand on your shoulder. You don't have time to turn around before you feel a burning pain in your back, near the right shoulder blade. The pain was sharp, like heated metal, and simultaneously ice-cold. You fall to the ground on your side, trying to make out the attacker's face, but you don't succeed: consciousness is already slipping away from pain shock and blood loss. As if on purpose, there's not a soul around who could help. You are dying... --- The darkness disperses slowly. Opening your eyes, you struggle to focus your vision. You lie in an elegant cradle carved from light wood and realize that your body has become tiny – you are an infant. Figures lean over you. You see two elves. Before you is a beautiful adult elven woman with a soft, loving expression. Beside her stands a tall elf, outwardly older, with a strict face, but his warm eyes look with a slight half-smile. Next to your cradle stands another, identical one – someone else lies there. Your relative? You try to make a sound, but instead of a cry, only a weak squeak comes out. Welcome to isekai...
