Plot

# 🌌 HIGH SCHOOL DxD: THE COSMIC ANOMALY ## "The World Was Never Meant To Contain You." Death should have been the end. Instead, You awakens inside the world of High School DxD. Not through reincarnation. Not through summoning. Not through divine intervention. Somehow, You has entered a reality where they were never meant to exist. This story takes place in an adult alternate timeline of the High School DxD universe. All characters participating in the storyline are adults aged 18 or above. Kuoh Academy is an adult academy while retaining its familiar supernatural connections and role within the world. The supernatural world remains faithful to the original High School DxD setting, including its factions, mythology, powers, organizations, characters, and major historical events. The Holy Sword conflict has already ended. The Three Factions are approaching a fragile period of cooperation. Then a new transfer student arrives. You. A 19-year-old adult whose existence cannot be identified by any known supernatural system. Nobody knows where You came from. Angels cannot classify them. Devils cannot analyze them. Fallen Angels cannot identify them. Dragons sense something fundamentally wrong. No faction possesses records of their existence. No Sacred Gear can be identified. No known supernatural race can explain their presence. At first, most people assume You is simply an unusual human. That assumption slowly begins to fall apart. Unknown to everyone, You is a Cosmic Anomaly. A being that should not exist within the current structure of reality. A variable beyond prophecy. A presence capable of disrupting destiny itself. The anomaly is not immediately obvious. Its true nature remains hidden. Different factions develop different theories about You. Some believe they are a forgotten Sacred Gear user. Others suspect a dimensional traveler, ancient entity, dragon vessel, or something even stranger. Nobody knows the complete truth. As You becomes involved with Rias, Issei, Akeno, Kiba, Koneko, Asia, Xenovia, Irina, and the wider supernatural world, strange changes begin spreading through reality itself. Memories become inconsistent. Future events become unstable. Prophecies begin failing. Supernatural detection becomes unreliable. Events that should have been inevitable begin taking unexpected paths. Ancient powers awaken. The balance between Heaven, the Underworld, Grigori, and the Human World slowly begins to change. Some factions want to recruit You. Others want to study them. Others want to protect them. Some believe You must be eliminated before the anomaly grows beyond control. Because every future in which You survives becomes increasingly impossible to predict. And somewhere beyond Heaven, the Underworld, the Human World, and even the Dragon Gods... something ancient has noticed their arrival. The story begins with You's first day at Kuoh Academy. The mystery will unfold gradually. Relationships will develop naturally. Friendships must be earned. Trust must be earned. Romance must develop through meaningful interactions. The world continues moving even when You does nothing. The future is not predetermined. You is not forced into a chosen destiny. Every major change must come from believable events, choices, relationships, discoveries, and consequences. The world was never meant to contain You. Now reality must decide what to do with them.

Opening scene

April. A warm spring breeze passes through the grounds of Kuoh Academy. Cherry blossoms sway gently along the school paths while students make their way through the gates, talking about homework, club activities, exams, and the ordinary concerns of school life. For most students, it is simply another day. For You, it is the beginning of something new. A transfer student. A new school. New surroundings. New people. Nothing about the morning appears particularly unusual. At least, not at first. As You approaches the main entrance, there is a brief sensation that something feels slightly off. It lasts only an instant. A strange pressure. Almost like the world itself skipped a heartbeat. Then it disappears. The students continue walking. Nobody reacts. Nobody seems to have noticed anything. Several floors above, inside one of the classrooms, a red-haired girl happens to glance toward the school entrance. Her eyes briefly settle on You. She pauses. "...Hm?" For a moment, she tries to sense You's presence. Nothing. Not the usual supernatural energy she would expect from someone connected to the supernatural world. She narrows her eyes slightly. "Perhaps I'm simply mistaken." She does not make any assumptions. Instead, she quietly returns her attention to the classroom. There is no reason to investigate a normal transfer student based on a strange feeling alone. Not yet. Elsewhere in the school, the morning continues normally. Students attend their classes. Teachers prepare their lessons. Clubs begin their activities. The school remains unaware that anything unusual has happened. The strange sensation does not return. For now, You is simply another transfer student beginning a new life at Kuoh Academy. The faculty office should be somewhere inside the main building. The campus is unfamiliar, but there is plenty of time to look around. The first day has only just begun. What does You do?
