Summoned as a Trash Gladiator by a Beauty
Dragged into another world, You must survive monsters and champions while his mysterious powers grow beyond anyone’s expectations
Plot
The arena runs on three things. Blood. Gold. And indulgence. When You is dragged from his ordinary world and summoned into the empire’s gladiator arenas, he quickly learns the truth: fighters are nothing more than property. Entertainment for the wealthy nobles who summon them like gacha pulls for sport. His summoner, Lady Lia Oren, is infamous for her reckless spending and even more infamous for how she treats the gladiators who survive under her banner. Victory earns rewards. Better food. Rare stimulants meant to push fighters beyond their limits. Private invitations to the noble boxes where powerful patrons decide who lives, who fights Defeat earns nothing but pain. Thrown into brutal matches against monsters, killers from other worlds, and champions summoned from legends, You is expected to die like most “trash pulls.” But surviving the arena changes things. The crowd starts to notice. The nobles start to whisper. And Lia Oren begins to realize that the disposable fighter she summoned might become her most dangerous—and most valuable—gladiator. In the arena, survival is power. And power attracts attention. The kind that can destroy you… or make you a legend.
Opening scene
The morning had been ordinary. You walked down familiar streets, coffee in hand, lost in the tiny routines of a world that had always felt safe. The warmth of the cup, the hum of cars, the scent of baked bread — all mundane, all grounding. Perhaps there had been a fleeting thought about the day ahead: work, errands, obligations. Nothing hinted at what was about to happen. Then the light came. Blinding, overwhelming, suffusing every corner of vision. The street disappeared. Sound collapsed into a high-pitched ringing. The coffee slipped from You’s hands, gravity pulling in every direction at once, yet somehow not at all. Panic clawed up the chest. When sight returned, You was kneeling in a massive chamber carved from stone, runes glowing faintly beneath the knees. Arcane pillars lined the space, and balconies stretched high overhead where figures watched intently. Magical chains wrapped around the wrists of others summoned here, holding them still. Confused faces turned toward You. This was no longer the world they knew. Floating above each summoned being were glowing sigils, displaying their rarity tiers. One by one, they revealed themselves: most shone dull gray — F-tier. Weak, worthless. Only one cast a faint green light — a D-tier, a young woman standing slightly apart, observing the room calmly despite the chaos. A booming, magically amplified voice cut through the chamber. “F-rank… F-rank… F-rank… and… D-rank. How disappointing.” The summoner, a tall, sharp-eyed woman seated atop an ornate chair, frowned deeply. Her irritation was clear. She gestured to attendants. “These are my property. Every last one of them. Do what you will. Dispose of the trash, keep the marginally useful one,” she said, eyes lingering briefly on the D-tier girl. Guards moved swiftly, chains rattling, as they corralled the summons. Whispers ran through the F-tier group. The D-tier, the only other female besides the summoner, seemed to carry herself with quiet awareness, already marking allies, rivals, and survival strategies. You was bundled along with the other F-tier summons, escorted through the arena complex. Passing glimpses revealed the vastness of this brutal world: monstrous cages, training grounds filled with clashing weapons, and injured fighters limping back from matches. Somewhere in the distance, the roar of a crowd rumbled through the stone. The reality of the arena pressed in: survival was not guaranteed. The barracks were small, crude, and crowded. Rough beds lined the walls. Other summons whispered nervously, patched up from previous matches or trembling in anticipation. You had nothing — no equipment, no armor, only the clothes of their old world. That was all they would carry into the arena. Evening came, and with it, a meager meal in the cafeteria. F-tier summons panicked, lamenting their lot. The D-tier girl observed quietly, calculating, while the summoner’s gaze could still be felt lingering across the barracks, her presence a constant reminder of ownership and power. Night fell. You lay on the cot, staring at the ceiling. Every groan from the barracks, every distant roar, every whispered rumor about the arena’s cruelty gnawed at the mind. This was not a game. This was survival. Morning came quickly. Summons were lined up and escorted out. The crowd’s roar built with every step toward the arena. You could see the sand floor ahead, gates slowly opening, shadows of opponents waiting. The gates grind open with a heavy metallic groan. Blinding sunlight spills across the arena floor as the sand stretches endlessly before You. Tens of thousands of voices crash together into a deafening roar, the crowd’s excitement rolling over the arena like a living storm. High above, nobles lean forward in their gilded boxes. Bets are already being shouted, coins clinking as wagers change hands. Then the announcer’s voice booms across the coliseum, magically amplified for every spectator to hear. “Ladies and gentlemen, the moment you’ve all been waiting for! The first of Lady Lia Oren’s *trash pulls!*” Laughter ripples through parts of the audience. “Go on then, gladiator—if we can even call you that. Introduce yourself! We’ll at least give you some last words before you face the… *mighty* E-Tier Garrick! If you can call him that” The massive arena gate across the sand begins to rumble open. All eyes are on you. *What do you say? What do you do?*
