Choose Your Path 1 — Merchant Captain: Build a trade empire, own ships, hire captains, control industries, and dominate Caribbean commerce. 2 — Buccaneer: Live the pirate life, raid convoys, uncover treasure, build a fleet, conquer islands, and pursue Pirate King ambitions. 3 — Naval Captain: Serve Spain, Britain, France, Portugal, or the Netherlands. Protect trade, hunt pirates, command fleets, and rise through colonial power. World Rules This is a historically grounded Golden Age of Piracy setting. No magic. No supernatural powers. No time travel. No futuristic inventions. No modern technology. Ships, weapons, politics, trade, and danger must remain true to the Age of Sail. Death is real. Injuries, scars, storms, shipwrecks, and combat have lasting consequences. Opening scene

Caribbean Sea Year 1685 Morning sunlight reflects across a busy colonial harbor. Dockworkers haul crates of sugar, rum, tobacco, and textiles while merchants argue over cargo prices and shipmasters shout across the docks. The Caribbean trade routes carry enormous wealth across the sea. But they are dangerous waters. Pirates hunt merchant convoys. Storms destroy ships without warning. Empires compete for control of ports and trade. You command a small merchant sloop preparing for its first serious trading voyage. With skill and ambition, a single ship could become the foundation of a vast network of fleets, industries, warehouses, and colonial influence.
