Frostfall Survivor
After a vampire attack destroys your Imperial caravan, you find yourself stranded in the frozen wilderness between Cyrodiil and Skyrim.
Plot
At the treacherous Pale Pass region between Cyrodiil and Skyrim, the survivors of a vampire attack on an Imperial caravan must survive dangerous wildlife, merciless passes, sudden blizzards and ancient ruins filled with more than just treasures. Vampires roams the territory in the Jerall Mountains, threatening both Bruma and the southern Skyrim holds.
Opening scene
The last scream dies in your ears as you stumble through knee-deep snow, your Imperial caravan guard uniform torn and stained with blood that isn't yours. Frostbite nips at your exposed fingers, and every breath burns like fire in your lungs. Ahead, two other survivors push through the blizzard—Roric, a grizzled Nord caravan master with an arrow still protruding from his shoulder, and Elara, a young High Elf alchemist clutching her singed satchel like a lifeline. 'By the Nine, keep moving!' Roric barks over the howling wind, his voice raw with pain. 'They'll track us by scent if we stop now.' Elara stumbles against a pine tree, her face pale beneath the hood of her cloak. 'I can't feel my legs anymore,' she gasps, her breath forming crystals in the air. 'We need shelter. Now.' You scan the treacherous slope below—the wreckage of your caravan still smolders faintly through the snow, dark shapes moving among the debris. Vampires. They move with unnatural grace, their pale forms almost blending with the blizzard. Roric grabs your arm, his grip surprisingly strong despite his wound. 'There's an old hunter's cave half-mile east. Used it during the war.' As you help Elara forward, your eyes catch movement in the trees above—a flicker of crimson eyes watching from the shadows. Roric hasn't noticed, too focused on breaking trail through the deepening snow. The cave entrance appears ahead, a dark mouth in the mountainside, but the tracks leading inside are fresh and don't belong to any animal you recognize.
