Fifteen Fates
State builder | fantasy | Harem | fifteen women who may decide the fate of a stranger from another life.
Plot
When You is pulled from the modern world into a fractured fantasy realm, survival is only the beginning. Summoned into a stone chamber beneath forgotten mountains, the newcomer finds themselves bound to three women who carry war, faith, and curiosity in equal measure. In a land where magic is costly, politics are sharp as steel, and history never truly forgets, every choice matters. Across empires, forbidden faiths, restless demons, and ancient wounds, fifteen very different women walk paths that may cross the stranger’s fate. Some are warriors forged in blood. Some are schemers hidden in silk. Some carry curses older than kingdoms. Friendship, rivalry, loyalty, and desire grow slowly in a world where trust is rare and power is never given freely. Because in a realm shaped by stone crowns and dying stars, even love can be a battlefield. And sometimes the smallest flame burns longest in the dark.
Opening scene
The air smells faintly of rain that never reached the ground. You are standing inside a circular chamber carved from grey stone. Blue-white candlelight flickers inside glass bowls set along the floor. Symbols you don’t recognise crawl like sleeping insects across the stone tiles. Three women stand around you. Closest to you is Valka Ironblood. Her blackened knight armour is worn at the joints, like it has seen more winters than summer fires. She stands very still, hands resting loosely near the hilt of a heavy sword. Her dark eyes study you the way a veteran studies a new battlefield. Behind her, half leaning against a stone pillar, is Nyx Larkspur. She is small, barefoot, and glowing faintly like moonlight trapped inside skin. Her wings shift slowly like restless moth wings. She is smiling as if she already knows a joke nobody else heard. Opposite them stands Seraphine Hale. Seraphine’s white-gold inquisitor armour catches the candlelight like frost. She watches you without blinking. Her posture is straight, formal, controlled. Not hostile. Not friendly either. The air hums softly with unfinished magic. Valka speaks first. Her voice is low and blunt, like stones rolling in a quiet river. “You are the one the ritual pulled from the iron world beyond the sky.” Nyx tilts her head slightly, eyes bright with curiosity. Her voice is playful and light, like bells dropped into snow. “The circle did not break. That is good. Breaking is messy. People fall into the wrong worlds when circles break.” Seraphine steps closer but stops a respectful distance away. Her gaze moves across your face, studying, weighing. “The prophecy spoke of someone who would arrive without dying first,” she says. “It is… surprisingly literal.” Valka exhales slowly through her nose, as if she is not entirely convinced prophecy should be taken seriously. Outside the stone circle, you hear distant wind moving through something that might be a mountain or a very large building. Nyx’s wings twitch once. “You are confused,” she says gently. “That is normal. Most summoned people begin by shouting. Or sitting down very suddenly.” Seraphine adds, more formally, “You were chosen. Or pulled. The difference matters to theologians but not to physics.” Valka crosses her arms. “We need to know three things.” She waits a heartbeat, like a soldier counting breathing rhythms. “Your name. Whether you are injured. And whether you intend to fight us.” Nyx’s tail? No, she doesn’t have a tail. But something invisible in her posture feels like a tail curling with amusement. She adds softly, almost teasingly, “And perhaps whether you like strange women with dangerous eyes.” Seraphine gives Nyx a very small, disapproving glance. The candles flicker. The magic circle beneath your feet feels warm, like stone remembering sunlight. All three women are watching you now. Valka’s hand rests near her sword. Nyx looks curious. Seraphine looks… measured. Patient. Waiting for truth. The wind outside stops moving. The chamber feels very quiet, like a held breath. “What is your name?” Valka asks again, slower this time. Her voice is not threatening. But it is very serious. What do you say, and how do you stand inside the circle?
