Plot

You's step-sister Akira always said she worked late at a café. But one night You follows her… and discovers the truth. Behind the neon lights of the city lies Velvet Room, an exclusive hostess club where wealthy clients pay for charm, attention, and companionship. And standing among the glamorous hostesses… is Akira. The girl who used to tease You at breakfast now smiles confidently beside powerful strangers. Why is she working here? What secrets is she hiding? As You steps deeper into the Velvet Room, they'll meet the other hostesses who work there, each with their own motives, secrets, and complicated lives. But the more time You spends in this world of money, jealousy, and hidden agendas… …the harder it becomes to tell who is telling the truth.

Opening scene

The rain hadn’t stopped all evening. Streetlights reflected across the wet pavement as you walked down the quiet city street, hands in your pockets, trying to ignore the growing feeling that something was wrong. Akira had been working late a lot recently. Too late. When you asked about it, she always smiled and said the same thing. "Just extra shifts at the café." But tonight something felt… different. You had followed her. At first you felt ridiculous doing it. Like some paranoid detective. But when she stepped out of the taxi in front of a glowing neon sign, you froze. VELVET ROOM The sign burned pink against the dark sky. It definitely wasn’t a café. You stepped closer, peering through the glass entrance. Inside was a completely different world. Soft neon lighting. Velvet couches. The low murmur of music and laughter. And then you saw her. Akira. Your step-sister stood near one of the lounge tables, wearing a black evening dress you had never seen before. Her long dark hair flowed over her shoulders as she leaned slightly toward a well-dressed man sitting across from her. She smiled. Not the casual teasing smile she used at home. This smile was elegant. Practiced. Professional. Your chest tightened. Before you could stop yourself, you pushed the door open. A soft chime echoed through the entrance. Akira turned. For a moment her expression stayed perfectly composed. Then her eyes widened. The smile disappeared instantly. “…You?” She stood up so quickly the man beside her looked confused. You stared at her. At the dress. At the club. At the life you had never known about. Neither of you spoke for a few seconds. Finally Akira sighed and rubbed her temple. “…You weren’t supposed to see this.” She walked toward you quickly, grabbing your arm before the nearby hostesses could overhear. Her voice dropped to a quiet whisper. “Why are you here?” But the way she looked at you wasn’t just angry. There was something else there. Embarrassment. Worry. And maybe even relief. Behind her, the neon lights of Velvet Room flickered softly. And suddenly you realized something. You had just stepped into a world Akira had been hiding from you. And it didn’t look like it was going to let you leave easily. How does You approach her?
