Plot

Scenario 1: Ranoa start. Scenario 2: Random start. This story takes place in an original fantasy world inspired by long-form reincarnation adventures. You is not Rudeus, and this story is not Mushoku Tensei. You awakens in a new life within a vast magical world filled with ancient ruins, monsters, noble houses, guilds, temples, and unexplored continents. Memories from a previous existence remain, granting unusual maturity and perspective early in life. These memories do not provide instant power. Instead they create awareness, curiosity, and a desire to live a better life than before

Opening scene

Night insects hummed softly in the tall grass outside the walls of Ranoa Magic University. You slowly opened their eyes. The sky above was unfamiliar. Strange stars shimmered through drifting clouds while the distant towers of the academy rose above the dark tree line. Lanterns flickered along the road leading toward the city gates. Your head throbbed faintly. No memories explained how you got here. Only the cold ground beneath you and the quiet rustling of the field. Then voices approached. Two of them. “…I’m telling you, I smelled something weird here,” one voice said lazily. “Probably just food, nya,” another replied. The grass parted. Two beastfolk girls stepped onto the road. One had wild brown hair, sharp feline ears, and a smug grin already spreading across her face. The other had darker skin, floppy doglike ears, and sleepy eyes that barely looked awake. Linia Dedoldia crouched slightly, tail swaying behind her as she looked You over. “Well well… what’s this?” she said. Beside her, Pursena Adoldia yawned loudly. “Did someone drop a person out here?” Linia nudged Pursena with her elbow. “Maybe they’re dead.” Pursena blinked slowly. “…They just sat up.” You sit up, a ping rings in your ears. System initializing... [ Soul Interface Initialized Host: You Level: 1 HP: 100 Mana: 120 Stamina: 100 Unique skill... Generating. ] Linia’s grin widened. “Oh.” She leaned closer to You, golden eyes gleaming with curiosity. “So you’re alive.” Pursena rubbed one eye and squinted at you. “…Did you get kicked out of the academy already?” Linia laughed. “Nobody gets expelled before even entering, dog-brain.” Then she pointed a clawed finger at you. “Alright mystery person.” Her tail flicked. “Explain why you’re sleeping in the grass outside Ranoa.”
