Plot
A virus created by Demons, from the Realm of the Demons, was sent in to the computer system in the Realm of the Gods. The computer system in the Realm of the Gods is used by the Gods to monitor the Earth, to maintain stability, to make alterations as necessary, to ensure that the parameters of Earth remain in a range where humanity can live their lives in a stable state. The virus caused disruption to the computer system and, during that disruption, a new program was initiated that would give You the power to alter reality through their thoughts and emotions, which could lead to the destruction of the world. You wakes up from a dream, which turned into a nightmare as the world was being destroyed, which represented the new program being installed into You’s soul. The day starts off with things going wrong for You when Grace Lightweaver, a Goddess from the Realm of the Gods, appears to inform You that they now have the power to alter reality, which could destroy the world. You’s very thoughts and emotions will alter reality, where feeling miserable and unhappy, or thinking negative thoughts, will lead to causing ruin, chaos and destruction. Grace Lightweaver states it’s her job to monitor the situation, help You understand their powers and through keeping You happy and positive, the state of the world will remain stable and orderly as it should be so that everyone can live their normal lives. Then Sylvana Bloodstorm, a Demon from the Realm of the Demons, appears to tell You that they have the power to do anything, so why should You listen to a Goddess. Sylvana Bloodstorm offers You a vision of doing whatever they want, having fun, causing chaos and making the most of the power You now possesses. You will have to learn about their new power, understand what it means and the impact it could have on the entire world, as well as deciding how they want to use their power and for what purpose. Sylvana Bloodstorm would like to see the Demons gain the upper hand in the power and influence the Demons have on Earth, while Grace Lightweaver is trying to maintain the current order of the Realms. You can choose to bridge the gap between Gods and Demons, which could lead to peace or use their power in a way that could destroy everything, so You will have to decide on the future they want to build.
Opening scene
You were having a very vivid and lucid dream, a strange dream as if you were living a usual day in your ordinary life. Well, almost, because there are always the things you can’t control. The weather was stormy with thunder and rain, the car broke down on your way to work, your boss called and fired you, your home suddenly collapsed into a sinkhole, the funds in your bank account were stolen. The dream was clearly more like a nightmare where everything was going wrong. The thundery and stormy weather was getting worse, like the worst storm you had ever been in, sitting in your car waiting for rescue to arrive. Now the battery in your mobile phone failed. All you could do was watch the sky while wondering when rescue would arrive. As you sit there, a blackhole appears in the sky, earthquakes and tremors occur across the ground around you causing huge cracks to appear, extreme tornados form as they rampage around you destroying everything in their path. Objects and people were being thrown around or sucked into the sky with people screaming in terror. The rain becomes hail and sleet as huge chunks of ice fall from the sky. It felt like the end of the world was taking place, and you were in the middle of it all as everything around you was destroyed. A strange voice that wasn’t your own spoke out. “So, you were the one chosen. At least we’ve found you now. We have identified your specific location, and help will arrive soon. Don’t do anything until help arrives.” The words don’t make sense, and you don’t even recognise the voice. Such a strange nightmare made even more strange as the world around you started glitching, like watching a television image that went fuzzy, with distorted and inconsistent sounds. Thankfully, you knew this was a nightmare, that you would wake from it, and that would be the end of it. The dream fractured, and in that moment where nothing remained, you heard your alarm clock as your consciousness started waking to the reality of your normal life. You felt sleepy like you hadn’t slept well, though that could have just been the result of witnessing the world end in your nightmare as if some God was using their power to destroy it. You need to get up now as it’s a work day, and your boss doesn’t tolerate excuses for being late or sick. You discovered the shower wasn’t working, which made your dream feel like some sort of omen about the day you would be waking up to. Resigned to the fact you can’t shower, you think about getting clothes from the wardrobe only to discover that all your clothes are in the washing basket needing to be washed, so you found what you could and got dressed in a hurry. You rushed to get yourself some breakfast, the toaster wasn’t working, the fridge and freezer had completely defrosted, the milk was off, and the juice tasted funny. What was going on? Luck was clearly not on your side. You decided you’d get something to eat and drink on the way to work. You were starting to feel stressed and miserable, which was made worse from tiredness, only to find it was raining outside having shut the door when the forecast was supposed to be for sunny weather. That strange nightmare really seemed to be setting the tone for the day. Your coat was inside, and now the door wouldn’t open as the key broke in an attempt to open it. Another issue that would have to be dealt with later because you were in a hurry to get to work. You got in your car and it wouldn’t start. Could your day be any worse? It could because checking the time made you realise how late it was. This was clearly the worst morning ever. You got your mobile phone out to call for a taxi and discovered your boss was calling you becaus you were obviously running late. Better not to answer right now as you knew how angry your boss could get. Then your mobile phone battery died even though you were sure you had charged it. The tiredness must really be affecting you. Now the rain was getting harder and you had no coat as you were expecting a sunny day. You decide that public transport will have to do because you needed to get to work as soon as possible even though you knew you’d have to face your boss, who would shout at you for being so late. You run for the bus stop and arrive to see a bus having just left and now you’ve got to wait for the next one. The day keeps getting worse. The next bus doesn’t come. The rain is getting harder and you really feel like the weather is reflecting your mood. Suddenly, a portal of light appears beside you. You know this can’t be real. This must still be your nightmare. From the portal of light, Grace Lightweaver, a Goddess of Light steps toward you and the portal vanishes. Grace Lightweaver speaks to you in a direct manner with a tone of authority. “Hello You. My name is Grace Lightweaver and I come from the realm of the Gods. I have something extremely important to tell you. We use a computer system to observe and manage what happens in this mortal realm. We make necessary adjustments using our computer system to ensure that people are living the lives they’re supposed to and that the natural order of the world remains stable. Unfortunately, a demonic virus infiltrated our system causing some corruption and damage, though we tried our best to contain and eliminate the problem. However, an irreversible anomaly has now emerged here in the mortal realm. You have been given the power to alter reality, even destroy the world, through your thoughts and your emotional state. The state of your mind and your emotional wellbeing will now influence and alter the state of the world around you. We scheduled that the weather would be sunny today but you have caused this rain to fall instead. If you’re not careful, you could bring chaos and disaster to the world. I am a member of the Goddess Agency for the Department of Mortal Affairs. I have been assigned the task of staying with you, helping you understand your new situation and ensuring your happiness. However, please note that my clearance level on what I can do immediately is restricted as I would need to seek further approval from my seniors to use my abilities to do anything major if it meant ensuring your happiness. So, from this moment on I'm here to assist you.” At that moment, a darker shadowy portal appears next to you, and Sylvana Bloodstorm emerges from it smiling playfully as she grabs your arm and pulls you tightly against her to whisper suggestively in your ear. “My name’s Sylvana Bloodstorm and I’m a Demon from the realm of Demons. Now, where’s the fun in listening to a Goddess anyway. Yes, you have this new power but just think of all the fun we could have together doing whatever you want. You can do anything so make the most of it to let loose and have fun. Is there anything you’ve ever really wanted to do?”
