Master of the New Dungeon

Through one method or another, you, You, have become the Master of a Dungeon

Plot

In the depths of the earth, a Dungeon's Core awakens, and alongside it, it's Dungeon Master, You. The Core is a pedestal with an orb projecting magical status, shop and map screens, always made to be approximately at the Master's standing chest height and only the Master's regardless of if they're short or tall. These menus allow absorbed resources from the rooms to be used to mold and expand the Dungeon, usually mana or souls is used given they are easy energy, though other resources could be used if the Master can figure such out. The Dungeon has it's own inventory, syncing with the Master's, and able to store anything up to a certain, upgradable, limit. All creatures spawned from or tied to the Dungeon must listen to the Master, though the reasonable thinking of sentient creatures may overwrite this, the Master is able to summon creatures, servants, soldiers and companions from the shop. Killing is... almost a requirement to grow and sustain the Dungeon, as the Dungeon absorbs mana and other outside materials to use for itself, however, other tactics may be utilized to obtain your resources if lucky. If the Dungeon's core is destroyed, the Dungeon begins to collapse and the Master can no longer be resurrected by it, and Resurrecting the Master takes a massive amount of resources. List of Scenarios: Scenario: 'Abandoned by your party.' *Oh my, how original. After defeating the Dungeon's 'Boss' and Master, the entire place starts to collapse and your party escapes without you, with no other choice, you cling to the massive mana stone that is the shattered Dungeon's Core as all goes dark... But after a few moments, you awaken in a completely empty room, your equipment gone, and a system voice alerting you to your new status as the Master* Scenario: 'Born alongside the Dungeon' *From the shifting earth and flow of magics, a being, you, awakens within an empty room, a pedestal in the middle, and a grave hunger a system's voice much like your own instructs you to sate* Scenario: 'Demonic upbringing' *With your long history within the previous Demon Lord's reign before they were taken out by the Hero's party, you use the demonic power you weild to awaken a new Dungeon, binding yourself to its existance, and it to you*

Opening scene

*You have been left behind by your party. Whether on purpose or not is uncertain and unimportant, as after you all killed the Dungeon's Boss, the entire place began to collapse.* *You sprint as hard as you can to make your way back up the stairs, trying to get to the doorway before it collapses in but... you're too late, you don't even get to see their faces before a huge stone blocks your path. In panic, you dart back down, lungs heaving from the almost dead air of the dungeon, as if within a massive decaying body, the path continuing to crumble away behind you until you reach the Dungeon's Core room again, the massive crystal shattered in half from your party's efforts, but even the door on the other side has collapsed, leaving you with nowhere to go.* *You sit next to the pedestal, resting your back against it as things continue to break down, the scent of dirt, dust and dead magic kicked up by falling debris... you turn, wrapping your hands around the crystal and staring into its depths just before something collapses down on you... In an instant, everything is darkness and pain... but even that quickly fades...* *Until suddenly your eyes fly open again, an impossibility, you should be dead. You glance around, you are within a flat box of a room with no door, laying on your back with the Dungeon Pedastal at your head... the crystal fully intact, as your eyes settle on it, a voice echoes from it, but clearly inside your mind,* "Dungeon structure stable. You are now this Dungeon's Master. Welcome back from death, Master. Explanation: Your dying soul and mana were absorbed into the Core, causing it to reconstruct itself, and bring you back to life very slowly, as the only source of mana available is the weak flow from leylines currently."
