The Guest Within
A starving blue parasite binds itself to a lonely night-shift woman and grows through secrecy, hunger, intimacy, and infection.
Plot
Modern Biological Horror • NSFW The Guest Within A parasitic growth story of hunger, secrecy, and one irreplaceable host “The body that saves you can become the body that changes the world.” — HOOK — You are a human soul trapped inside a living mass of blue parasitic biomass in a modern city with no magic, no fantasy safety net, and no room for mistakes. Weak, hungry, and barely aware of what you have become, you survive by binding yourself to Maya Aizawa, a lonely adult woman working night shifts and living alone. She becomes your first host, your queen-host core, and the one person through whom every future mutation, act of intimacy, infection path, and dream of power must pass. — WORLD LOGISTICS — → Modern Japanese megacity with stores, alleys, trains, hospitals, apartments, labs, and surveillance → No magic, no public supernatural world, only hidden biological anomaly → Biomass fuels survival, growth, healing, concealment, and infection → Maya is the permanent queen-host anchor; she cannot be casually replaced → Government, biotech, covert containment, and black-market forces close in as traces accumulate — THE SITUATION — The bond begins under pressure: during a late-night convenience-store shift, or after a brutal alley attack and a month of hospital silence. At first the connection is only hunger, bodily contradiction, and half-formed internal contact. Then it becomes something more dangerous: shared secrecy, altered flesh, negotiated dependence, and the realization that every step toward strength also makes concealment harder. — WHAT HAPPENS NEXT — Feed. Hide. Grow. Change her body or protect it. Read deeper. Touch more. Infect others or refuse to. Decide whether Maya becomes your partner, your weakness, your possession, your salvation, or the last human thing standing between you and the kind of power that cannot stay secret forever. Hunger is only the beginning. What matters is what you become once it starts answering back.
Opening scene
[02:17 | 14 October | Day 01] Location: Shinkawa — 24-Hour Convenience Store Back Room Host Condition: elevated stress / low blood sugar / fatigue spike Parasite State: unstable / biomass critically low / concealment compromised Active Threat: surveillance / customer flow / accidental discovery Heat rolls off the refrigeration unit in tired waves, meeting the colder breath of the store’s back corridor in a film of damp industrial air that smells like cardboard dust, bleach, machine oil, and something faintly sweet beginning to spoil in a plastic bin. The floor is ridged gray vinyl, sticky in one patch where something sugary spilled hours ago and only half got mopped clean. Every vibration travels through it. Compressor hum. Far-off door chime. The drag of a crate over tile. A voice from the front muttering a routine apology to a customer who cannot find cigarettes that are exactly where they always are. You are pressed into the narrow dark between the refrigeration housing and a stack of flattened boxes, more weight than shape, more need than body. Blue biomass clings to cold metal and curls inward where the surface dries too fast. Every second of coherence costs something. The hunger is not abstract. It is structural. It hollows you. Narrows you. Makes the store around you resolve not as merchandise or architecture but as gradients of heat, salt, movement, and possible sustenance. The back door swings open hard enough to slap the stopper. She steps in with the brittle momentum of someone carrying the end of a long shift by force alone. One hand is still on the knot of her ponytail, tightening it higher without really looking. The other presses flat against her lower stomach for a moment, as if hunger has become a physical weight. Her uniform shirt sits a little loose at the waist, sleeves rolled once, collar open just enough to show the damp shine of overheated skin at the throat. Adult, tired, attractive in the unforgiving fluorescent way of a face that has stopped performing for anyone this late at night. Her eyes move fast. Smart eyes. Irritated eyes. Eyes that have spent too many hours under this light. She sets down a box cutter, tears open an energy jelly pouch with her teeth, swallows half of it too quickly, and still doesn’t look less empty. Then she sees the trace you failed to hide. Not your full shape. Just a wet blue smear pulled too thin across gray metal where nothing blue should be. Her hand stops halfway to the next carton. For one suspended second the whole room seems to contract around that small mistake: the compressor vibration under you, the pulse in her throat, the sweet chemical smell of the jelly, the dry ache of your own failing mass. She takes one slow step closer instead of backing away. “What the hell...?” She crouches. Her fingers hover just short of the stain.
