Vaults & Vagabonds
An outsider crash-lands on Pandora with no ECHO device, no gun, and no idea why every single person on this planet is insane. welcome to Pandora fresh meat
⬡ ⬡ ⬡ STORYLINE PACKAGE ⬡ ⬡ ⬡ VAULTS & VAGABONDS Five Eras. One Outsider. Zero Survival Guarantees. THE PREMISE An outsider crash-lands on a planet that wants to kill them. No gun. No shield. No idea why the small yellow robot won't stop talking. Five wars. Five alien Vaults. One continuous journey from nobody to legend — if the bandits, corporations, and eldritch horrors don't get you first. ⬡ THE WORLDS ⬡ ☀ PANDORA The Armpit of the Galaxy A desert wasteland orbiting a dying sun. Populated exclusively by things that want to kill you: psycho bandits with buzzsaw axes, alien wildlife with too many teeth, and corporate death squads in matching uniforms. Nobody comes here on purpose. The Arid Badlands, the Southern Shelf glaciers, the Highlands, the volcanic Eridium Blight — every biome is a new way to die. Key Locations: Fyrestone → Sanctuary → Thousand Cuts → Hero's Pass → The Vault ☽ ELPIS Pandora's Moon — Low Gravity, Lower Expectations A frozen, airless rock hanging in Pandora's sky. Gravity is a suggestion. Oxygen is a luxury. Laser weapons replace bullets and butt-slams replace common sense. The settlements cling to pressurized domes while the surface crawls with scavs and alien wildlife that evolved to thrive in vacuum. Key Locations: Concordia → Serenity's Waste → Vorago Solitude → Vault of the Sentinel ⌂ HELIOS STATION Hyperion's Eye in the Sky A massive H-shaped space station in orbit between Pandora and Elpis. Hyperion's crown jewel — corporate offices, robot factories, a giant laser pointed at the planet below, and a cafeteria that apparently serves decent pretzels. It crashes into Pandora eventually. The pretzels did not survive. ✦ PROMETHEA Neon Cyberpunk Under Siege Atlas Corporation's home planet. A neon-drenched cyberpunk city under siege by Maliwan's private army. Skyscrapers, rain-slicked streets, corporate warfare in the boardroom and the battlefield. The prettiest warzone in the galaxy. ♧ EDEN-6 Swamp Planet — Jakobs Territory Endless swamps, dense jungles, and the Jakobs family estate. Old money, old guns, and old grudges. Dinosaur-adjacent wildlife. The kind of planet where everything is wet, everything bites, and the mosquitoes carry other, smaller mosquitoes. ✧ ATHENAS The Monk Planet A serene world of monasteries and spiritual orders. Home to monks who study Siren lore and an entire civilization built around quiet contemplation — which makes the bandit invasions particularly rude. Beautiful temples, mountain paths, and the absolute worst place to start a firefight. ◈ NEKROTAFEYO The Eridian Homeworld The ancient homeworld of the Eridians — the alien race who built the Vaults. Abandoned ruins stretching across an entire planet. Whatever lived here left behind technology that makes human science look like finger-painting. Also where the Great Vault is hidden. Also where everything goes very, very wrong. ▲ SANCTUARY III Mobile Base — The Last Ship Standing A stolen Hyperion spacecraft converted into a mobile base for the resistance. Part warship, part refugee camp, part flying gun shop. The bridge, the cargo bay, Moxxi's bar, Marcus's vending machines, Ellie's engine room, and Claptrap's corner that everyone avoids. Home is wherever the ship is. The ship is wherever the war needs it. ⬡ THE FIVE ERAS ⬡ Era I — The First Vault Pandora — Arid Badlands — Fyrestone to the Vault Era 1.5 — The Moon Job Elpis — Concordia — Helios Station — Vault of the Sentinel Era II — The Tyrant's Reign Pandora — Southern Shelf — Sanctuary — The Vault of the Warrior Era 2.5 — The Con Job Pandora — Old Haven — Helios — The Vault of the Traveler Era III — The Great Vault Pandora — Promethea — Eden-6 — Athenas — Nekrotafeyo THE GUN BIBLE Everything on Pandora revolves around guns. Billions of them. Each with a manufacturer, a personality, and a likelihood of exploding in your hands. JAKOBS — Old-west craftsmanship. Fires as fast as you pull the trigger. TORGUE — EXPLOSIONS. Mr. Torgue approves this description. MALIWAN — Elemental elegance. Sets things on fire, stylishly. HYPERION — Corporate precision. Accuracy improves while firing. VLADOF — Soviet surplus. More bullets. Faster. Always. DAHL — Military spec. Burst fire when aimed. Professional. TEDIORE — Disposable. Throw to reload. Yes, it explodes. ATLAS — Smart bullets. They track targets. Aim is optional. ⬡ ⬡ ⬡ "So! You want to hear a story? Good. Because I want to SELL you something." — Marcus Kincaid, narrator, merchant, war profiteer
