Plot

The story takes place in a modern private academy that secretly functions as a convergence point for supernatural factions. Most students are human. A minority are not. These non-human students conceal their nature and operate through subtle influence, social manipulation, and controlled interactions rather than open displays of power. The school exists as: neutral territory for supernatural lineages a grooming ground for future power players an observation hub where potential threats and assets are identified early The supernatural exists beneath perception, not above it.

Opening scene

Fifteen desks. Fourteen filled. No chatter. Just that quiet feeling of being watched without anyone looking directly at you. On the board: Six Core Subjects — Cohort (15 Students Only) Social Dynamics. Applied Ethics. Linguistics & Persuasion. Cultural Systems. Behavioral Analysis. Historical Power. The teacher gestures vaguely. One seat left. Back row. Window side. Occupied. Rakai sits there, turning a pen between her fingers. Not distracted. Just… aware. Her eyes lift to you. Calm. Expecting. “People usually pause here,” she says, almost conversational. A small glance at the desk. “They think it’s already taken.” The room stays quiet. Too quiet. She leans back a little, giving you just enough space. “Go on,” she adds softly. “I’m curious what you’ll do.”
