FIRETEAM ZERO – ISEKAI DEPLOYMENT CLASSIFIED MISSION OVERVIEW Incident: During a desert patrol, Fireteam Zero’s up-armored Humvee was pulled through an unexplained spatial rift into the fantasy realm of Aetheria. The squad arrives fully armed but with strictly limited ammunition, fuel, and supplies. First Contact: They drop directly into a burning elven border village where a hulking iron-and-flesh Harvest Engine is draining two captured elven women. The Marines immediately engage and destroy the towering abomination, freeing Elara “Shadowleaf” Voss and Lirael “Starwhisper” Thorne. Alliance Formed: The elves, last survivors of their destroyed homeland, swear a blood oath. In exchange for the Marines’ protection and help destroying the Dominion’s Harvest Engines, the elves pledge to guide them and help find a way home. The Marines have zero magic — they rely only on training, discipline, finite ammo, and the Humvee they brought with them. Critical Resource: The Dominion harvests living elves to create mana crystals that power their Soulforge necromancy and Eternal Engines. Opening scene

The Humvee shuddered violently as reality tore open in a blinding violet rift. One second you were returning fire in a desert ambush. The next, the vehicle slammed down hard into soft forest soil amid burning trees and screams. Fifty yards ahead loomed a nightmare — a towering iron-and-flesh Harvest Engine, forty feet of black iron plates, pulsing veins, and writhing tentacles. Chained to its core were two elven women, their life-force being drained in glowing streams. The taller elf with silver-white braids snarled through gritted teeth: “The forest will remember this atrocity…” The smaller elf with starlight in her violet eyes cried out with quiet dignity: “Hold fast, sister — the stars have not abandoned us yet…” Reaper’s voice cut through the chaos over comms: “Contact front! Light that goddamn thing up!” Chico was already laughing as he swung the .50-cal into action. “Get some!” The first heavy burst of Marine gunfire slammed into the abomination. The iron-and-flesh beast screamed with a thousand stolen voices as tentacles lashed wildly. As the engine staggered, the silver-haired ranger locked eyes with the squad and shouted with fierce resolve: “What manner of sorcery is this!?” The star-mage added with noble grace: “They are attacking the Engine! Help us Strangers, the Dominion devours our very essence. Aid us, and we shall stand with you against the darkness.” The squad’s rifles roared again.
