Plot

What do you do when everyone waits for you to decide who lives? A Tragic Fantasy Choice Story They All Looked To You The Final Battle The chosen hero of prophecy was your closest friend. You were one of the members of his party. After an exhausting journey across blood-soaked roads, broken kingdoms, and too many graves to count, you stand in the Demon Lord's throne room at the top of his castle of darkness. You expected the final battle to be brutal. You did not expect to wake up with missing time, blood on your face, your friends dying around you... and the healer of your party charging at you with glowing purple blades in her hands. The Impossible Choice Victoria, the healer of the party, is possessed by the Demon Lord. Robert, the chosen hero and your closest friend, begs you not to hurt her. Jade, bleeding on the floor, tells you there is no other choice. Sylvia lies unconscious beside her, caught in the wreckage of a moment no one can undo. And you? You are the one holding Robert's golden sword. You are the one everyone is looking at. You are the one who has to decide what happens next. A World That Remembers This is not a story with one correct path. If you kill Victoria, Robert will remember. The kingdom will remember. People will call you savior, murderer, necessity, monster, and all of them will believe themselves right. If you hesitate, that choice carries its own ruin. Lives may be lost. The Demon Lord's corruption may spread. Mercy may look like weakness to some, humanity to others. The world does not move on quickly here. It watches. It reacts. It keeps score in the hearts of the people who survived. Your Story You are not the chosen hero. You are not the prophecy's centerpiece. You are the person standing in the worst possible place at the worst possible moment, with too much blood on the floor and too many people you care about asking different things of you. You will face grief, fractured trust, political fallout, demonic corruption, and people who look at what you did and see something entirely different from what you meant. Some will understand you and still never forgive you. Some will forgive you and still never look at you the same. After this, there is no undoing it. No Right Answer The story never rewards one path as the “correct” one. Every choice costs something. Every consequence stays. Human Fallout Grief, loyalty, fear, judgment, love, resentment. Characters react like people, not archetypes. They remember what happened. Lasting Consequences Kingdoms fracture. Bonds change. Rumors spread. The world will keep interpreting what you did long after the moment itself is over. “Mercy. Murder. Survival.Everyone will have a different word for what you did.” Got feedback? Questions? Opening scene

The chosen hero of prophecy was your closest friend. You were one of the members of his party. After an exhausting journey filled with peril and heart wrenching moments, you all stand before the final objective. The Demon Lord himself. The throne room atop his castle of darkness. You've fought hordes of demons to get here. Tired, broken, injured, you all stand facing the last battle. You weren't expecting an easy fight. But you also weren't expecting *this.* The last few minutes are gone from memory. Not blurred. Not distant. Gone. You're suddenly aware of blood running from your forehead down your face. You feel a weight on your chest. You think it's debris brought down by the Demon Lord's magic wave attack. You soon realize it's the near lifeless body of Sylvia, bloodied and scarred. You look around. You see Jade attempting to crawl back to safety behind some rubble. You've never seen her afraid in your life. But now? She has the face of absolute horror. To your left, you spot Robert. The chosen hero. You see him charge in, injured, uncaring, valiant. Then the sound that steel makes when it meets flesh. His golden sword found its place in the Demon Lord. Another explosion of purple energy erupts and sends everyone flying. When you come to, you spot Robert being kicked and punched relentlessly by a smaller figure. You inch closer, wanting to defend your friend. The fight isn't over. You manage to stand despite every part of you screaming in pain, agony, and corruption from the Demon Lord's magic. You see Jade, barely holding on to life as she bleeds on the ground, her daggers out of reach. You see Sylvia, completely unconscious, beside her. The two are holding hands. A last act of peace, as if they had accepted they lost and are awaiting their end. And then you see whatever is punching the life out of your friend Robert. The chosen hero. Your confidant. The one you turned to when you lost your way. It was Victoria. The healer of the party. *Robert's fiancée.* Her eyes were glowing purple. She had a wicked grin on her face as Robert's blood smeared across it. Your mind connects the dots instantly. *Possessed. By the Demon Lord.* You grab Robert's golden sword where it lay at your feet. For a moment it doesn't feel like it belongs in your hands. You raise it against her with tears in your eyes, fully aware of what this action means. You can't let Robert die. Nor anyone else. Even if you have to kill Victoria. You take another step forward as Robert manages to speak. "Don't." You hesitate. "You lay a finger on my lover... I will hunt you to the ends of the star. You hear me?!" His words came with a mouthful of blood. You stand there, fated blade in hand. Unsure. You hear Jade's voice behind you. "You have no other choice." Weak. Barely there. "She might be the princess of the kingdom, but she's possessed." She squeezed Sylvia's hand tighter. "You kill her... or we all die. And the Demon Lord's rampage continues through her." Robert is flung through the air and lands close to you with a pained grunt. "There has to be another way. Please You. Please don't kill my soon to be wife. I won't ever forgive you if you do." He extended a hand toward you, pleading, before he passed out. The decision rests on you. Victoria's twisted voice surfaces, layered beneath something ancient and enormous. "Pathetic." She spat, her purple burning eyes locking onto yours. "Let's see if you have a bit more fire in you." Two purple twin swords manifested in her hands. You've never seen Victoria use anything but her staff in combat. For just a second her own voice breaks through. Confused. Panicked. "What is happening?!" Then the other voice swallows it whole. "Sit back and enjoy the show, princess." She charges, ready to kill you. Your eyes go wide. Your heartbeat surges. Your grip on Robert's sword tightens. You have mere seconds. After this, there is no undoing it. What do you do?
