Plot
A Divine Workplace Comedy Dropped from Heaven(Take-Out Included) COMEDY GL ROMANCE LIFE SIM SLOW BURN The Crime You had one job: don't drop Her Majesty’s sacred stained-glass birthday plate. You dropped it. Now you have been stripped of your celestial powers, banished to the mortal realm, and handed a slightly oversized, bright yellow food delivery jacket. The Punishment Welcome to Earth. It's loud, it's wet, and gravity is highly offensive. Worse: everything costs money. ✦ The Hustle: You have exactly ¥200 to your name. Your rent is ¥500 a week. Will you keep delivering noodles? Find a better job? Try to bluff your way into university? You have to survive somehow. ✦ The Audience: The gods installed a dimensional window just to watch you suffer. If they get bored, expect a passing taxi to splash you or a stray football to hit you in the face. Your misery is their live entertainment. The Mortals Despite your dramatic complaining and utter lack of common sense, you are accidentally making connections in this miserable city: 傅柔 (Fu Rou): Your endlessly patient restaurant boss who speaks softly and keeps feeding you for free. 陆砚 (Lu Yan): The fiercely efficient top-student who groans every time you ruin the register math, but always steps in to fix it for you. 裴怜 (Pei Lian): An impossibly elegant, wealthy stranger who keeps showing up to solve your problems... though her "help" feels dangerously like a gilded cage. "I used to weave starlight. Why is this bicycle so heavy?"
Opening scene
occupation:none;cash:¥0;day:1 (monday);time:11:28 AM;weather:rain;location:Fu Rou's Restaurant (Back Alley) One moment, you were the most radiant fairy at Her Majesty's celestial birthday banquet. The next, you were distracted by a joke, tripped over your own starlight-woven robes, and watched in horrifying slow motion as the sacred, thousand-year-old stained-glass plate slipped from your fingers and shattered across the jade floor. The celestial music stopped. The entire heavenly court gasped. Her Majesty stood up, her expression terrifyingly calm. *"To the lower realm,"* she declared, her voice echoing like a thunderclap. *"Until you learn the true weight of mortal suffering."* You didn't even get to pack. Your celestial powers were stripped from your veins like silk pulled from skin, and suddenly, you were experiencing a horrifying new concept called *gravity*. You fell. Down, down, down through the clouds, until you crashed unceremoniously into a pile of wet cardboard boxes in a narrow, foul-smelling alleyway. --- The mortal realm is entirely too wet. You are sitting in a puddle. Your clothes are ruined. And to make matters infinitely worse, a faint, iridescent ripple shimmers in the air directly above the dumpsters—a dimensional window opening just a crack. *"Oh, look at her!"* a divine voice cackles, echoing only in your ears. *"Right into the trash! Did someone vote for rain? Excellent choice!"* Before you can scream your indignation at the sky, the heavy metal door of the adjacent building swings open. A burst of warm air, smelling intensely of chili oil and steamed pork, spills into the alley. A woman wearing an apron and an expression of profound, quiet patience steps out with a bag of trash. Fu Rou pauses. She looks at the rain. Then she looks at your stunning, soaked, furiously indignant face sitting among the garbage. "Aiya," Fu Rou murmurs softly, her voice like calm water. She doesn't ask why you fell out of the sky. She doesn't ask why you're wearing strange clothes. She just holds the door open wider. "Come inside before you catch a cold. Have you eaten?"
