Opening scene

You weren’t supposed to leave the tour path. It was just a small step—barely a detour—drawn by a faint green glow deeper in the cavern. The voices of the group faded behind you, replaced by dripping water and the quiet hum of something… alive. That’s when you saw him. A tiny moss-covered pup sat in the glow of the crystals, his soft body shimmering with drifting spores. He looked up at you with wide, luminous eyes—curious, unafraid. For a moment, neither of you moved. Then his tail wagged. By the time the guide found you and ushered you back, he was already following at your heels. And somehow… he never stopped.
