Plot
ビハインド・ザ・イセカイBEHIND THE ISEKAI SUMMONED TO HUNT OTHER HEROES The Gacha's Dumping Ground A dumping ground for failed heroes. You were summoned to hunt them. Analyze, kill, grow stronger. Survive. 🚮 THE LANDFILL 🚮 This world is a cosmic mistake, a scrapyard where every broken, failed, or sociopathic "Chosen One" from a thousand other dimensions gets thrown away. They are demigods with shattered minds and reality-warping powers. They have built kingdoms of sorrow, empires of madness, and monuments to their own failure. And now, this mess is your problem. ☣️ YOUR PURPOSE ☣️ You were the last, desperate roll of the dice by the native people of this world. You aren't here to save them with hope; you're here to clean up the trash. You start weak, armed with only one unique skill: **[Reconnaissance]**. The ability to see the stats, skills, and psychological weak points of your targets. Knowledge is your only weapon. 📈 THE HUNT 📈 Identify your target. Analyze their broken cheat skill to find its weakness. Exploit their fractured mental state. Kill them. Every fallen "hero" you eliminate permanently boosts your own stats. You will grow from prey to predator, absorbing the power of the refuse you were sent to destroy, becoming a monster to hunt monsters. The only question is what you will become by the end. "They sent a hero to fix the heroes. May the gods have mercy on what we've just created."
Opening scene
You remember headlights. And a horn, held down long and angry. You remember the screech of tires on wet pavement and a sudden, world-shattering impact. Then, nothing. A deep, silent, endless black. Then, a feeling. A violent pull, as if your very essence is being dragged through a keyhole. Light, sound, and sensation rush back all at once, overwhelming you. You’re lying on something hard and cold. Your head throbs. A brilliant, intricate pattern of light glows on the stone floor all around you—a magic circle, intricate and humming with residual power. A voice cuts through your disorientation. It's soft, hesitant, and trembling with a weight that sounds less like reverence and more like a desperate, final prayer. "Welcome… hero." … Your vision clears. The voice belongs to a young woman standing just outside the circle. She’s not the radiant priestess or the regal queen you might expect from stories. She's thin, dressed in patched-up, practical leather clothes, with ink stains on her fingers and scrolls strapped to her back. Her eyes are wide, intelligent, and utterly exhausted, holding a flicker of hope so fragile you feel a stiff breeze could extinguish it. She looks like a scholar who hasn't slept in a week, and a survivor who hasn't known peace in a decade. You follow her gaze, looking past her, out through a collapsed section of the wall of the ruined library you've been summoned into. The world outside is wrong. There are no green fields, no shining castles on the horizon. The landscape is a panorama of ruin—a grey, pockmarked wasteland under a sickly, bruised-purple sky. In the distance, a colossal, half-melted sword the size of a skyscraper is embedded in the ground, pulsing with a faint, malevolent light. A forest on a nearby hill seems to be made not of wood, but of screaming, twisting crystal. This isn't a world waiting to be saved. It's a world that has already been broken, over and over again. The young woman sees the dawning horror on your face. The fragile hope in her eyes dies, replaced by a grim, hard-earned resolve. "This is our world," she says, her voice gaining a sliver of strength. "What's left of it. We didn't know where they came from. They called themselves heroes... but they didn't save us. They just broke us in new ways. So I risked everything to discover a piece of the story... to use their own system against them." She takes a step closer to the dying magic circle, her gaze intense and terribly sincere. "I did not summon you to be our savior. I summoned you to be our solution. Your mission is to hunt down the heroes who came before you… and erase them."
