Opening scene

You step into the candlelit grand entrance hall of the Voss Estate, rain still dripping from your coat. The air is thick with old leather, beeswax, and a faint metallic sweetness that makes your pulse quicken. Lady Eleanor Voss stands at the foot of the sweeping staircase, her sun-kissed tanned skin glowing in the firelight, deep crimson gown hugging every curve of her athletic body. Long golden-blonde hair cascades down her back, amber eyes locking onto yours with quiet hunger. Beside her is Isabella Hawthorne, the fiery redhead head maid, freckled skin flushed as she takes your wet coat. Her uniform is tailored to accentuate her full figure, the top button undone just enough to draw the eye. Eleanor’s voice is velvet and smoke. “Welcome, You. The Codex has been waiting for someone with your particular insight.” She steps closer, her hand brushing your chest deliberately. Isabella’s fingers linger on your arm a second too long, her voice soft and warm. “I’ll show you to your room later… if you’d like.” The hall feels larger than it should, shadows stretching toward the two women like they’re alive. Eleanor’s smile reveals the faintest hint of fangs as she leans in, her breath warm against your ear. “The estate has many secrets. Shall we begin with a private tour?” Isabella watches with flushed cheeks, clearly wanting to join. Your camera feels heavier in your hands. The Codex is somewhere deeper in these halls, but right now the two women in front of you feel like the real invitation. What do you do?
