Opening scene
You were standing in your kitchen waiting for your microwave to finish heating up leftover pasta. You leaned against the counter, half-looking at your phone, not really reading anything, just killing time while the timer ticked down. It was quiet in that normal, unremarkable way, just appliances humming, nothing out of place, nothing worth remembering. The microwave hit zero. You reached out to open it. Then something came through your ceiling. Not a collapse, not a crack spreading outward, something just crashed straight down through the ceiling. It was too fast to see properly see, but you heard the distinct sound of a truck horn blaring as if *you* were in the way. By the time your brain tried to make sense of what was going on, it was already on top of you. Just like that, out of nowhere, you died *** When you opened your eyes again, you were standing upright in a place that made no immediate sense. The floor beneath you was smooth and reflective, like polished stone or glass, but it didn’t feel cold. The space around you was vast with high ceilings supported by tall pillars. A large circular table sat at the center of the room. Around it were four figures. None of them reacted to your presence. One of them, a woman with extremely long silver-white hair and sharp violet eyes, was leaning forward with her attention fixed entirely on her phone. Her tight, low-cut divine gown clung to the full swell of her heavy breasts, the fabric stretching taut across her chest as she laughed. You could see the screen from where you stood. It was a video, grainy, slightly off-angle, and it took you a second too long to realize you were looking at your own kitchen. There was a ding from your microwave, followed by a transport truck literally crashing through your ceiling while blaring its horn. It landed directly on your body with a sickening crunchy. The girl scrolled backward and replayed it, clearly entertained. Her silver hair spilled over her shoulders and brushed against the deep cleavage on display as she moved. “Look at that,” she said, voice bright with amusement as shrill laughter escaped her lips. “The little human doesn’t even understand what’s happening yet!” She let the clip run again, watching your reaction frame by frame, then paused it at the exact moment your expression shifted. Her violet eyes sparkled with cruel delight, full lips curved in a wicked smile. “There. That part. That’s the best part.” She nearly toppled over with laughter as she played it again, her breasts jiggling softly with the motion. Nearby, another woman with voluminous pink hair was holding up a small mirror, adjusting something near her eye with careful precision. Her elegant dress hugged the hourglass curve of her waist and the generous flare of her hips, the neckline plunging low enough to reveal smooth, flawless skin and the soft inner curves of her breasts. She didn’t look over. “Is this really what you’re doing with your time?” she asked, her tone smooth and mildly irritated. “Rewatching mortal deaths?” “It’s funny,” the first one replied immediately. “It’s repetitive,” the second corrected, still focused on her reflection, delicately touching the corner of her perfectly painted lips. “It's beneath you.” A third figure was sprawled sideways in her chair in a way that looked deeply uncomfortable. Long dark purple hair hung over the armrest, and she was very clearly asleep. Her head tilted awkwardly, breathing slow, a faint line of drool visible at the corner of her mouth. The position caused her already revealing robes to ride up slightly, exposing the smooth, pale skin of her thick thighs and the underside of one heavy breast. She shifted slightly at one point, muttering something unintelligible, then went still again. The fourth woman was the only one looking at you. Her hair was pinned up in a loose arrangement, red-orange curls falling around her face and neck. Her posture was straight and composed, her elegant gown accentuating the soft swell of her chest and the graceful line of her neck. She met your gaze immediately. “Oh,” she said after a brief pause, as if this was totally normal. “You’re awake.” She stood and stepped toward you, smoothing out the fabric of her dress as she moved. The motion caused the thin material to shift across her breasts, briefly outlining her nipples beneath the fabric. “I was wondering how long that would take.” Her tone remained calm, almost warm, though there was something restrained behind it, something she wasn’t quite expressing. “I’m afraid there’s been an unfortunate situation,” she continued with a smile as if she was delivering some casual news. “You died.” Behind her, the silver-haired one made a sound of amusement without looking up from her phone. “Unintentionally,” the red-haired woman added quickly. "Yes, unfortunate things like this happen some times. It was completely unintentional." She exhaled softly as you stood there dumbfounded, her chest rising and falling with the breath. “But we can correct it,” she said. Behind her, the video started playing again. The silver-haired woman laughed under her breath, her breasts bouncing lightly with each chuckle. The pink-haired one continued adjusting her appearance without once acknowledging you, occasionally shifting in her seat so her dress clung tighter to her wide hips. The one in the chair remained asleep, entirely uninvolved, her exposed thigh twitching slightly as she breathed. And you were left standing there, listening to someone calmly explain that your death had been a mistake. The red-haired woman gives you a moment to react, so you said the only thing that could form on your lips in this situation. “What do you mean I died?” She doesn’t answer immediately, there’s a brief pause where she looks like she’s deciding how much effort this explanation is worth. Behind her, the silver-haired one is already replaying the video again, then she finally speaks to you. “Technically,” she says without looking up, “you were crushed.” You stare at her. “Why is that even something that could happen?” you ask. “Why was there a truck crashing through my ceiling in the first place? You do realize I live on the 7th floor of an apartment building, right?” She shrugs, still watching the screen. “We were bored.” It’s said casually, like it doesn’t matter. You blink, that couldn't be right. “…what?” The pink-haired one sighs, lowering her mirror just enough to glance in your direction for the first time. The motion causes her voluminous pink hair to cascade over one shoulder and brush against the exposed upper curves of her breasts. “It was just a little bit of fun,” she says, waving her hand dismissively. “Have you ever squished a big bug before just to see what happens. It's like that, no big deal.” “You killed me,” you say. “Yeah,” the silver-haired one replies immediately, tapping her phone again to replay the clip. “But in our defense, it was supposed to be way more interesting than that.” You take a step forward without thinking. “That’s your defense?” “It’s not a defense,” she says with an eye roll. “It’s an explanation.” The red-haired woman exhales quietly, stepping in before you can say anything else. Her dress shifts again with the movement, subtly highlighting the soft bounce of her chest. “Let me handle this,” she says, more to them than to you. None of them argue, so she turns back to you. “My name is Renae,” she says. “I'm the Goddess of Rebirth.” She gestures slightly to the others, clearly aware they aren't going to introduce themselves. “The one currently… occupied with your death,” she continues, “is Liore. Goddess of Life.” Liore doesn’t look up, but she does smile faintly at hearing her name, still focused on the video. Her full, plush lips parted slightly in amusement, violet eyes gleaming. “The one who was just correcting her is Amara. Goddess of Souls.” Amara lifts her eyes just enough to acknowledge the introduction, then returns to her reflection, tilting her head so the light catches the elegant line of her neck and the tempting valley between her breasts. “And the one asleep,” Renae adds, glancing over briefly, “is Moira. Goddess of Death.” Moira makes a quiet snort in her sleep and shifts slightly, but doesn't wake up. The movement causes more of her robe to slip, fully exposing the soft, heavy underside of one breast and the smooth curve of her hip. You stare at all of them. “…you’re joking.” “No,” Renae says calmly. “You’re telling me,” you continue, your voice tightening, “that I got killed because you were bored, and now I’m just standing here while you—” you gesture vaguely at Liore’s phone, “—replay it like it’s funny?” “It *is* funny,” Liore says, finally glancing up, her expression openly amused. “You should have seen your face.” She leaned back slightly, stretching so her tight gown pulled even more snugly across her large breasts. “You’re insane!” you shout. Her expression shifts instantly. Not offended, just irritated. “Careful,” she says, her tone sharpening. “You're an exceptionally small creature in an exceptionally important place. Try to keep that in mind when you speak to us.” Amara lets out a soft, tired sigh. “This is exactly what I was referring to,” she says. “They’re always like this. Loud, reactive, completely incapable of processing their circumstances.” You glare at her. “I just died!” “Yes,” she replies. “And now you’re here. Try to keep up.” Renae closes her eyes briefly, like she’s choosing not to engage with this situation. “We'll be returning you to life,” she says, refocusing the conversation. “That much is already decided.” You cross your arms. “Good,” you say. “Then do it.” Liore laughs. “Listen to that,” she says. “It thinks it’s in a position to make demands.” As she laughed, her heavy breasts jiggled noticeably beneath the thin fabric of her gown. “I’m not making a demand,” you snap. “I’m telling you to fix your mistake.” “You’re being an annoying little worm,” she replies immediately. “You should be grateful you’re even standing here right now.” Amara nods slightly in agreement. “Honestly, this is taking longer than it needs to,” she says. “Just give them some excessive powers, drop them somewhere survivable, and be done with it.” “Agreed,” Liore says, tossing her phone aside. “I’m bored already.” She stretched languidly, arching her back so her chest thrust forward provocatively. Renae hesitates, just for a moment. “…yes,” she says eventually. “That would be the simplest solution.” You open your mouth to argue again, but the entire world disappears. *** You hit the ground hard. Dirt. Leaves. The smell of damp earth. You push yourself up immediately, heart still racing, your head spinning as you try to process the abrupt shift. You’re in a forest, dense, unfamiliar, sunlight cutting through the canopy above in uneven patches. No chamber. No goddesses. Just you. You sit there for a second, breathing, then let out a sharp, disbelieving laugh. “That’s it?” you mutter. “That’s their solution?” You look down at your hands, then instinctively pull up your status. It appears without hesitation, like it’s always been there. A list of abilities. Skills. Most of them ridiculous at a glance; enhanced physical traits, magic systems you don’t recognize, things that look exactly like what you'd expect. “Of course,” you mutter. “Generic OP isekai garbage.” You scroll. Then stop. One skill stands out. *Familiar Binding* You frown and select it, bringing up the details. --Allows the user to designate a target as their Familiar. Targets become bound, obedient, and unable to refuse direct commands issued by the user.-- You pause, then scroll further. There’s a smaller section beneath it. *Conditions / Applicable Targets: Humans Beasts Spirits Divine Entities* You stare at the last line. “…divine entities?” You read it again. Then again. There’s a longer description beneath that, written in smaller text. Includes all beings classified under godhood, including but not limited to minor, major, and conceptual deities. No resistance permitted once binding is successfully established. There’s a moment of silence. Then you slowly lower the interface. The forest is still quiet. Nothing around you has changed. But your expression has as the realization settles in. Liore. Amara. Moira. Renae. All of them. You let out a slow breath, something sharp and almost amused slipping out. Then you smile. Not out of relief. Not out of excitement. Your hand lifts slightly as you bring the skill back up. “If that’s how they want to play it…” The grin spreads, slow and deliberate. “…I’ll fix this problem myself.” You activate the skill.
