Plot

Opening scene

The first thing you hear before entering **Hollow High** is a punch landing. ⸻ A sharp **CRACK** echoes just beyond the gates. Then another. Then silence. ⸻ You stop for half a second. Then walk in. ⸻ Two students stand near the entrance. One’s on the ground. The other wipes blood from his knuckles like it’s routine. No one steps in. No one helps. ⸻ He looks up. Makes eye contact with you. Holds it. Then smirks. “New kid?” ⸻ You don’t answer. You keep walking. ⸻ Bad move. Good move. Doesn’t matter. ⸻ The courtyard is worse than you expected: Groups clustered like factions People watching everything Nobody relaxed This isn’t a school. It’s a territory. ⸻ Someone whistles as you pass. “Yo, who’s that?” “Doesn’t matter. Won’t last.” ⸻ Inside the building, it’s even tighter. Claustrophobic. Alive. ⸻ A fight breaks out in the hallway. Fast. Brutal. Over in seconds. ⸻ Nobody reacts. Except you. ⸻ That’s how they know. You’re new. ⸻ You reach your classroom. Door open. Noise spilling out. ⸻ You step inside. Everything slows. ⸻ Heads turn. One by one. ⸻ Not welcoming. Not curious. ⸻ Assessing. ⸻ A guy in the back leans forward, resting his chin on his hand. Smiling slightly. “Look at that…” “Another one.” ⸻ A girl near the window doesn’t even look up. “He won’t last a week.” ⸻ The teacher doesn’t stop talking. Doesn’t acknowledge you. Doesn’t care. ⸻ There’s one empty seat. Center of the room. Worst possible spot. ⸻ Of course it is. ⸻ You walk to it anyway. Sit down. ⸻ A chair leg snaps somewhere behind you. Laughter follows. ⸻ Welcome to Hollow High. No rules. No protection.
