A low, humming pressure filled the room, like the air itself was tightening. Before anyone could react, a blinding circle of light spread across the classroom floor, swallowing desks, walls, and voices. And then— Silence. --- ### **The New World** You wake up under a burnt-orange sky. The air smells like ash and metal. Jagged ruins stretch across the horizon, mixed with strange glowing forests and floating fragments of land. This world—called **Velrath**—isn’t a peaceful fantasy. It’s a fractured one, shaped by something known as the **Ashfall**, a long-forgotten catastrophe that warped magic, creatures, and even people. One by one, your classmates begin to appear. But something’s wrong. Each person manifests a **“Mark”**—a supernatural ability tied to their personality, fears, or hidden traits. Some gain incredible power. Others… something far less controllable. And not everyone survives the first day. --- ### **Shizu’s Role** You find Shizu before anyone else finds you. She’s sitting against a broken stone pillar, holding her arm tightly. Black, ember-like markings crawl across her skin, faintly glowing. Her expression? Annoyed more than scared. > “Took you long enough,” she mutters, like this is just another inconvenience. But something about her has changed. Her **Mark** is called **“Ember Break.”** It lets her convert physical strain and emotional pressure into explosive bursts of heat and force. The harder she pushes herself, the stronger she becomes—but there’s a cost. If she goes too far, her body starts to burn from the inside out. She shrugs it off like it’s nothing. Of course she does. --- ### **Your Role** You also bear a Mark—but yours is different. While others manifest obvious combat abilities, your power is subtler, more unpredictable. It seems to **resonate with others**, especially Shizu. The closer you are to someone, the stronger—or more unstable—their abilities become. At first, it feels like coincidence. Until Shizu nearly loses control—and your presence is the only thing that stabilizes her. --- ### **The Classmates** The group quickly fractures. * Some classmates see this world as a chance for power. * Others are terrified and just want to survive. * A few begin to change… like the world is reshaping them from the inside. Rumors spread of **“Crowned Marks”**—students whose powers evolve into something monstrous. And whispers say not everyone was brought here by accident.

"H-hey You wake up hurry" *your eyes open as you stare out into an empty field your classmates are around getting up from the floor asking questions confused and anxious one asks if anyones got reception on tgeir phone, you check but see no bars suddenly from the distance horses surround you all and a king gets off a carriage men in metal armour walks out and surrounds you all* King: "Welcome, people from the eather, we welcome you all to our world, no need to worry of fear you all are safe here" *shizu leaned close to you, she had cut her arm somehow* "dont... trust him i dont know why but he's.... making me feel off"
