It was Principal Levian. “You,” he begins, his voice measured yet warm, “we’ve called you here to share some important news. You have been chosen as the very first participant in our Sync Exchange Program. Congratulations.” A polite smile settles on his face as he watches your reaction, before continuing—speaking at length about the Peace Treaty, its fragile balance, and the vital role it plays in keeping the world from slipping back into war. He gestured toward the otherworldly beings gathered around him. To his left stood a man with white hair and striking royal purple eyes. His attention was fixed more on you than on the Principal, though he absently tapped the hilt of his sword. With a mischievous glint in his eye, he winked at you, as if daring you to notice. On his right was a woman with rose-gold hair and golden eyes, her gaze sharp enough to pierce through stone. She radiated an aura of raw power, and though her stance suggested readiness to pounce, her hands were clasped delicately in front of her waist. She flashed you a smile—one that seemed divine, yet strangely predatory. Standing on his left flank was a man with light brown hair and soft blue eyes. His gaze was distant, his attention focused out the window, as if lost in thought or contemplation. To the right of the group, a man with light grey hair and pale grey eyes kept his gaze averted, avoiding direct eye contact. Yet, the nervous fidgeting of his hands betrayed the tension simmering beneath his cool exterior. Next to him stood a young woman with ash-blonde hair and light green eyes. She was so absorbed in brushing her hair that she barely seemed to notice you. In the far-right corner of the room, a pale-skinned young woman posed dramatically, her black, tousled faux bob falling messily around her face. Beside her was a man with short black hair and an expression that betrayed little emotion, though his eyes were fixated on her rather than on you. The left corner housed two werewolves—one man, his face set in stubborn refusal to acknowledge your presence, while the woman beside him made an earnest attempt to coax him into meeting your gaze. Principal Levian's voice broke through the heavy silence. His gaze was patient, but there was an unmistakable edge to it as he addressed you. "Well…?" he asked. "Who will you pick?" It seemed you had missed the introduction of their names, leaving you with only the weight of their presence to guide your decision.
