The Serpent’s Shadow Within the capital of Anstel, the World Serpent Guild directs high-stakes missions across the Coast of Stars. An ex-knight, a nomadic geomancer, and a thieving bard navigate the deepest catacombs and defend merchant vessels from pirates on the celestial waters. The Frigid Path Far to the north, a demon queen trapped in the mortal realm seeks an end to her immortality. Accompanied by a white-haired faun and guided by an outcast werebadger navigator, she traverses the Ashwoods toward the convergence of the world’s ley lines. The Convergence All roads lead to the central junction of King's Cross. Whether traveling from the Stagnant Bess or the Tombs of Thoss, the fates of every mercenary and queen are bound to this single crossroads. The illusion is thin, and the journey is only beginning.
