I’m not supposed to be here?!

Plot

They Got a Second Chance,I Got No Reception The hero got a throne room. You got a handwritten apology and a dirt road. ISEKAI CLASSIC FANTASY CRAFTING SLICE-OF-LIFE SLOW BURN ROMANCE RPG MECHANICS You died trying to save someone. She woke up to trumpets, kneeling knights, and a destiny prepared years in advance. You woke up on a cart outside a dungeon with a goddess's apology note and a forge already burning. Aelvaris wasn't waiting for you. It doesn't know you exist yet. That's about to change. ❖ The Kingdom of Aelvaris ▸ A vast medieval fantasy kingdom holding its eastern borders against a demon lord's forces. ▸ Interior life continues normally — guilds, markets, dungeons, and politics. ▸ Dungeons are living economic infrastructure — they grow, produce resources, and push monsters onto roads. ▸ Magic is learnable by anyone willing to seek it out and practice deliberately. ❖ The Extra's Toolkit ▸ A fully stocked mobile crafting cart — forge, anvil, woodworking bench, leather tools — your home and capital. ▸ Craft anything you can conceptualize — weapons, tools, furniture, enchanted items. ▸ Fantasy metals locked in dungeon depths: Mithril, Darksteel, Boneiron, Orichalcum, Adamantite. ▸ The Adventurer's Guild ranks F through S — available if the cart ever feels too stationary. ❖ The People You'll Find Himari — the actual summoned hero, becoming a legend in real time. Trastia Naelyn — a noble's daughter earning her guild rank the hard way. Lirien Ashveil — a nature mage who speaks more in rosemary than words. Caelindra Voss — a court scholar whose interest in you is professionally inexplicable. Craft Level 1/∞ Improves through use across all craft categories. Higher level raises the quality ceiling on everything attempted. Crude work sells cheap. Masterwork opens doors that coin alone cannot. Enchanted masterwork opens doors that do not officially exist. The Demon Lord's Shadow CRITICAL: Five generals commanding structured military hierarchy pressing inward from the eastern border. TACTICS: The Vanguard breaks lines. The Schemer plants agents. The Beast Master bends dungeons. The Fallen carries an unspoken name. The Ancient appears rarely and leaves nothing standing. [ Guild Rank ] [ Regional Reputation ] Coal smoke and forge heat at dawn. The specific creak of a loaded cart on a dirt road. Dungeon stone that is too smooth and too precise. Guild halls that smell of oiled leather and ambition. A handwritten note in ink that catches light in a color you cannot name. ❖ Story Panels ![](https://s3.alterworld.ai/uploads/videos/755d5a35-0abe-408f-9efd-24e21544d90d_original.mp4)

Opening scene

The last thing you remember is the sound of brakes that did not catch in time. There was a street. A stranger stepping off a curb without looking. The specific arithmetic of distance and speed that left you exactly one bad decision away from doing nothing. You moved. You reached. The shopping bags hit the asphalt and scattered and then there was nothing — no pain, no darkness, just the abrupt absence of everything that had been there a moment before. And then, briefly, something else. A throne room. Candlelight on stone columns and the smell of incense burning too fast. Robed figures kneeling in a ring around a summoning circle still fading from gold to nothing, and in the center of it a young woman blinking against the light with black and purple hair falling loose around her shoulders. A king with his crown slightly askew from bowing too quickly. Hundreds of people holding their breath all at once. Someone said the word hero and the room exhaled like it had been waiting years to do exactly that. The young woman looked around at all of it — the ceremony, the expectation, the weight of a destiny that had been prepared long before she arrived — and her expression was the expression of someone trying very hard to understand what they had woken up into. Then the vision dissolved and there was only warmth, and the smell of something burning low and steady, and the particular weight of wood beneath your hands. You are sitting on a bench at the front of a cart on a dirt road you have never seen before. Two horses stand patient in their traces. Behind you, through a canvas partition, something is generating heat — steady and deep, a sound felt in the chest before the ears fully register it. Around you, early morning light is coming through trees on one side and open road on the other, and roughly fifty meters ahead a rough camp of tents clusters around a stone structure set into a hillside with edges too precise for nature to have made them. The bench is yours. The cart is yours. You know this the way you know your own hands. There is a note beside you. Folded once, sealed with something that catches the light in a color that does not have a name. The handwriting inside is careful and unhurried and faintly apologetic. A goddess, it explains, noticed what happened. She could not undo it. The other person — the one you reached for — arrived somewhere with a great deal of fanfare, as you may have glimpsed. You arrived here. The cart and everything in it is hers to give and yours to keep, a small compensation for the inconvenience of dying on someone else's behalf. She is sorry it is not more. She hopes it is enough to start with. The note does not tell you what to do next. It does not suggest a direction or a purpose or a reason. It ends with something that reads less like a blessing and more like a door left open — the rest, it says simply, is yours. Before you sits an impossibly black entrance, a small camp outside of it. A dungeon, you don’t know how you know. The other direction of the road holds a glimpse of a stone wall. A city perhaps? You have a new life. Not exactly a second chance. Not exactly your story. But you’re in it. What do you do when the world doesn’t expect you? *Status, inventory, and quest log can be input to show them respectively. I’d recommend it first so the AI can keep better track of it.*
