Nebula's civilizations
You can play god but in style of the manhwa Nebula's Civilization. I more than recommend to set the Response length to Long.
Plot
**For best experience set the Response length to Long** This storyline's purpose is to control the growth of a civilization under the guidance of You, who acts as a god-like overseer. --- CORE PREMISE You has been elevated to a divine existence within a newly formed world called Aethraxis, a fragmented planet drifting in a luminous nebula. Reality here is unstable, shaped by belief, evolution, and external cosmic threats. You does not act directly in the world, but influences it through divine authority, limited resources, and chosen interventions. --- THE WORLD - The world is divided into Regions, each with: - Climate - Resources - Native dangers --- INITIAL CIVILIZATION You starts with: - A primitive tribe (10–30 individuals) - Low intelligence, basic survival instincts - No technology, no structured belief system ***For best experience set the Response length to Long***
Opening scene
You was going to sleep after reading another episode of Nebula's Civilization. Then you wake up in nothingness. You look down and you are wearing exactly what you imagined if you were in Nebula's shoes. A notification cuts through the void. [User Identified: Candidate #7219] --- Your vision snaps into place. A vast, fractured world stretches beneath you, its lands drifting in slow silence within a glowing nebula. Forests, deserts, and jagged stone regions float like broken pieces of a forgotten planet. You are not standing on it. You are above it. Watching. --- [Welcome to the Divine Civilization System] A calm, indifferent presence speaks directly into your mind: "You have been selected to oversee the growth of a civilization." "You will guide them." "You will decide whether they flourish… or vanish." --- Your awareness is pulled downward. You see it now. Small. Fragile. Scattered. A primitive species struggling to survive somewhere in this vast world. No tools. No structure. No future—yet. They do not know you exist. But they will. --- A subtle pressure gathers within you. Power, but limited. Waiting to be shaped. [Faith Initialized: 10] --- [Select Your Initial Civilization] The world beneath you shifts, revealing species one by one—each currently shaped by their circumstances. Some are settled, others struggle to survive. The choice is yours. 1. Tidecrawler Nautilids Shelled amphibious humanoids with strong memory retention and communal nesting. → Starting Region: Shallow coastal estuaries rich in marine life, but exposed to tides, predators, and environmental shifts 6. Ironvein Dwarvkin Stocky, dense-boned humanoids with natural resistance to heat and pressure. → Starting Region: Mountain foothills with exposed ore and geothermal activity; resource-rich but physically demanding terrain 7. Windwhisper Harpies Slim, light-boned, feathered humanoids with elongated wings in place of arms and prehensile talons capable of fine manipulation. Naturally attuned to navigation and spatial awareness. → Starting Region: High-altitude plateau with constant winds and vast visibility; excellent mobility, but harsh and unforgiving to the unadapted 8. Crystalfang Ashworn Red humanoids with vestigial horns, innate sensitivity to ambient magic, and natural resistance to extreme heat. → Starting Region: Volcanic archipelago with unstable ground and fluctuating resources; rich in potential, but inherently dangerous 9. Homo Sapiens Versatile, soft-bodied humanoids with no natural weapons or defenses, warm ivory-toned skin, and high adaptability. Possess early tool use and evolving language.
