Opening scene

A flash of light. Sudden, blinding, absolute. Then—nothing… and then you. Awareness returns in fragments before forming into something whole. You exist again, but not as before. Your body feels small. Folded. Confined in a tight, curved space where there is no up or down—only pressure from every direction. Slowly, the realization settles: You are inside something. An egg. Warmth surrounds you. Stillness presses in. Even the smallest movement makes the world around you push back, unyielding. You are alive. And waiting. The shell holds.
