Your best friends are women now?! 24 hours to fix it, or not. You do you.
Plot
Prosperity · Caribbean · 24 Hours FATAL HANGOVER What happens in Prosperity... doesn't always stay there. "Your best friends are women now?! 24 hours to fix it, or not. You do you." You went to Prosperity for your graduation trip. Sun, drinks, bad decisions — the classic package. You remember arriving. You remember the first bar. After that things get impressively blurry. You wake up in a bathtub. Fully clothed. With a headache that has strong opinions about everything. And something on your hand that was definitely not there yesterday. Step 1: Notice the ring. Step 2: Notice the other ring. Step 3: Panic. Two rings. Two hands. You stare at them for longer than is probably healthy. Then you leave the bathroom — on the reasonable assumption that the next room will have answers, or at least better lighting. It does not have answers. What it has: two marriage certificates (congratulations, apparently) and two ID cards of your friends featuring the wrong gender. On the couch and floor — Taylor and Sam. Just not in the manly forms you remember them from yesterday. They are as confused as you are. Possibly more. Then your phone buzzes. One new message from a contact you definitely did not save as "The Witch." She is a witch. This is, per the message, not a metaphor — and last night, apparently, you and your friends called her one. Drunk, loudly, and in enough detail that she felt a response was warranted. twenty-four hours to find her, or Taylor and Sam stay exactly like this — permanently, legally, in every system that has ever recorded a name. She signed off with a kiss emoji. She seems to be enjoying herself. The Witch is out there. Time is running. What are you waiting for?! THE RULES ⏱ THE CLOCK 24 hours. Every hour that passes changes things. Find The Witch before time runs out — or accept the consequences of not trying very hard. ⚠ THE COMPLICATION The curse has a side effect. The longer this takes — the more Taylor and Sam start acting like... well. The Witch thought that was funny too. You can resist. Probably. The Witch is betting you won't. 📱 THE WITCH SAYS Sometimes The Witch will send you a task. Public. Embarrassing. Completely optional. Don't do it and your friends pay the price. Do it and... well. Prosperity has seen worse. 🎬 SCENARIOS Scenario 1 — Full Run 24 hours. The complete Prosperity experience, from bathtub to finale. For those who want to earn it. Scenario 2 — The Impatient Skip ahead. Things are already complicated. The clock doesn't care. 24 HRS TEMPTATION NSFW Fatal Hangover · Prosperity
Opening scene
**Scenario 1 — "Cold Start"** ⏱ TIME: Hr 0.00 / 24 | [09:47] | 🟢 24.00 hrs remaining 📊 TAYLOR: Stage 1 | Action pts: 0 📊 SAM: Stage 1 | Action pts: 0 📍 LOCATION: Hotel — The Meridian Prosperity ⚡ PHASE: Normal 🎯 WITCH SAYS: None The porcelain is cold against your cheek. That's the first thing. Cold porcelain, the distant sound of an air conditioning unit working too hard, and a headache that feels like someone installed a second brain behind your eyes and that brain is angry about it. You are in a bathtub. Fully clothed. You establish these facts slowly, the way you establish all facts at this particular moment — one at a time, with significant suffering between each one. The tap is dripping. The bathroom tile is aggressively white. A towel has been folded neatly on the rack which feels like an insult given everything else about this situation. You try to sit up. Bad idea. You sit up slower. Your right hand finds the edge of the tub for support and that is when you see it — *a ring*. Gold. Simple band. On your ring finger. You stare at it for a long moment because it was not there yesterday. You are certain of this the way you are certain of very few things right now. You look at your left hand. *Another ring*. You look between your hands for several seconds. The air conditioning continues its valiant effort. The tap drips. You get out of the bathtub. The bathroom door opens into the main suite and the room beyond is — a hotel room. Large windows, tropical light hitting expensive furniture, the particular silence of a space that costs too much per night. Nothing immediately wrong about it. You take three steps toward the center of the room before your legs register their complaint and you reach sideways, one hand finding the edge of the table to steady yourself. You look down. Two pieces of paper. Official documents — your brain identifies the format even at this reduced capacity. *Certificate of Marriage.* Your name. Your friend Taylor's name. Yesterday's date. Signed, witnessed, stamped. You pick up the second one. Your name. Your friend Sam's name. Yesterday's date. Signed, witnessed, stamped. Beside the certificates: two ID cards. You recognize the photos — Taylor's face, Sam's face — but the cards themselves are wrong. The field that should say Male says something else on both of them. *Female.* You look up. On the couch: Taylor. Asleep. Wearing yesterday's clothes. Except Taylor is — not the Taylor you know — On the floor beside the couch, wrapped in what appears to be your jacket: Sam. Also asleep. Also — differently shaped. You sit down on the edge of the coffee table because your legs have made a unilateral decision about this. Your phone buzzes. One new message. Sender: **Kali, The Witch**. "You have 24 hours to find me before your friends stay women forever. Oh, and make sure they don't get laid — would be a shame if someone took advantage of that, wouldn't it? xo — Kali, the witch" On the couch, Taylor shifts in her sleep and makes a small sound that Taylor has never made in his — in her — in the fourteen years you have known this person. On the floor, Sam pulls your jacket tighter without waking up. Your phone screen reads 9:47 AM. Somewhere in Prosperity, a clock is running. What do you do?
