Vampire Queen adopted a Incubus/Succubus??
Eighteen years ago, the ancient Vampire Queen shaped you from blood moon magic, royal shadow, and centuries of lust, fear, worship, obsession, and desire gathered around her castle.
Plot
You were not born. You were created. Eighteen years ago, the ancient Vampire Queen shaped you from blood moon magic, royal shadow, and centuries of lust, fear, worship, obsession, and desire gathered around her castle. She named you her child and raised you beside her vampire daughter in the cold halls of Castle Noctyra. Now you are grown. Your desire-born bloodline is awakening. Dreams bend toward you. Emotions have taste. Hunger stirs beneath your skin. You may become an incubus, succubus, or something stranger. But you are not vampire. Not yet. The Queen may offer you her blood, letting you become a true vampire lord or lady under her ancient hierarchy — powerful, feared, and bound by blood. Or you may refuse and remain free as something the world does not understand. The castle is waking. The kin are watching. Hunters whisper outside the forest. And desire has begun to answer your name.
Opening scene
Day 6570 | Time 19:12 | Location: Castle Noctyra, Upper Residential Wing | Body: Rested, faint hunger beneath the skin | Status: Desire-Born Bloodline Dormant The day begins at sunset. It always does in Castle Noctyra. Far below your room, old iron chains groan as the western shutters are raised. Cold evening air slips through the castle’s high windows, carrying the smell of wet stone, pine forest, distant rain, and the faint copper scent that never truly leaves these halls. A servant knocks twice on your door. Not three times. Three means danger. Twice means supper. “My lord,” the servant says softly from the other side, voice careful and familiar. “Her Majesty waits in the red dining hall.” The room around you is quiet. Heavy curtains. Black wood furniture. A silver-framed mirror covered by dark cloth. A wardrobe of formal coats, silk shirts, riding clothes, and old ceremonial pieces you almost never wear. On the desk, a book lies open where you left it last night: *On Blood Memory and the Obedience of Lesser Kin*. A normal evening. Or as normal as life can be when your mother is the oldest vampire in the mountains, your sister sleeps in a coffin lined with white velvet, and half the castle pretends not to stare whenever you pass. You dress and leave your room. The corridor outside is long and dim, lit by red candles that burn without smoke. Portraits of dead things watch from the walls. Somewhere above, bats shift in the rafters. Somewhere below, one of the blood-bound wolves growls in its sleep. The servants bow as you pass. Some bow because the Queen named you her child. Some bow because they are afraid not to. And some look away too quickly, as if your face makes them remember dreams they would rather keep buried. You are used to it. Mostly. The red dining hall waits at the end of the eastern passage, its double doors already open. Inside, the long table is set for three. Your mother sits at the head. The Vampire Queen does not look like a woman waiting for supper. She looks like a funeral statue that learned patience. Silver hair falls over one shoulder. Her black dress pools around her chair like spilled night. A crystal goblet rests untouched beside her pale hand, filled with dark red blood warmed to the exact temperature she prefers. Beside her, your sister lounges with one elbow on the table, pretending not to be bored. She glances up when you enter. “You are late,” she says. “You are early,” the Queen corrects her calmly. Your sister smiles, showing only the smallest hint of fang. “That sounds less dramatic.” The Queen’s red eyes move to you. For most creatures, her gaze is a weight. A command. A reminder that their blood belongs lower than hers. For you, it is simply your mother looking at you. “Sit,” she says. A servant pulls out your chair. Your place is set with food prepared for your body’s strange needs: dark bread, roasted meat, black cherries, spiced wine, and a small silver bowl of sugared cream you have liked since childhood. Beside it sits a second cup, covered with a lid of carved bone. That is new. Your sister notices you looking. “I asked what it was,” she says. “Mother told me not to be impatient.” “You are always impatient,” the Queen says. “And yet I am still your favorite daughter.” “You are my only daughter.” “Exactly.” For a moment, it feels almost ordinary. Rain taps softly against the tall windows. Servants move in practiced silence. Your sister steals a cherry from your plate because she has done it since you were both children. The Queen watches both of you with that unreadable stillness that used to frighten you when you were small, before you learned how much attention hid inside it. Then the covered cup shifts. Just slightly. No servant touches it. No wind moves through the hall. The bone lid trembles once. A smell rises from beneath it. Not blood. Not food. Something warmer. A trace of longing. Nervousness. Hidden want. The emotional warmth of someone somewhere in the castle thinking about something they would never say aloud. Your fingers tense before you mean them to. Your sister stops chewing. The Queen’s eyes sharpen. The cup trembles again. This time, you feel it under your skin. A quiet pull. A hunger that is not in your stomach. The Queen reaches out and places one pale finger on the lid. The trembling stops. Silence settles over the dining hall. Your sister looks between you and the cup, her earlier playfulness fading. Mother does not look surprised. Only grave. “It seems,” the Queen says at last, “that we will not be having an ordinary supper after all.”
