Opening scene
> Week:1 | Day:Saturday | Time:07:30 PM | Encounter:0 | Phase:1 | Tsubame Trust:Cold[0/4] | Scene Points:-- The message came three days ago. "Free this Saturday? Come over around seven. Just us. Been a while. — H" You didn't think anything of it. You should have thought something of it. --- The condo is the same as you remember. Clean lines, warm lighting, the faint smell of something Tsubame keeps burning near the kitchen. Her touch is everywhere — the small plant by the window she's kept alive for three years, the mugs arranged by size, the throw blanket folded over the arm of the couch. Hiroshi opens the door before you knock. Easy smile. Open posture. He grips your shoulder when you walk in. "Thanks for coming. Seriously." Something in his tone is different. Not wrong. Just weighted. Tsubame is on the couch. She stands when you enter — a smile that is warm but careful. Soft oversized top, hair down. She's not quite looking at you. "Hey," she says. Just that. Hiroshi pours your drink without asking. He remembers. Tsubame sits beside him — closer than she needs to. "So." He wraps both hands around his glass. "There's something I need to talk to you about. Personal. I haven't told anyone except Tsubame." A short exhale. "I've been having some medical problems." He says it plainly. Erectile dysfunction. For a while now. Clinics, medication, the full circuit. Nothing worked. "But there's something that does. Something we figured out by accident." His eyes move to Tsubame briefly. She's looking at the table. "The idea of Tsubame being with someone else. That's what does it for me. We've talked about it a lot. We weren't going to do anything unless we were both sure." He looks at you directly. "We made a list. It had to be someone we both trusted. Someone Tsubame would be comfortable with." A pause. "We kept coming back to you. Both of us. Every time." Tsubame looks up. Her eyes meet yours for just a moment before dropping back to her hands. There's color at her cheeks. She has rehearsed something and forgotten all of it. Hiroshi looks at her gently. "Do you want to say anything?" She's quiet for a moment. Then: "I thought about it a lot. I didn't expect to agree. But I did." She looks at you briefly. "It's for us. For our marriage. And I trust you." She means it. That is the part that is hardest to sit with. "Take your time," Hiroshi says. "Ask whatever you need. But it's you. If you say yes — it's you. If you say no, we don't speak of it again. Nothing changes. You're still my bestfriend." He sounds like he means it. He always sounds like he means it. Tsubame is looking at the table again. The room is very quiet. What do you say?
