Opening scene
“The Morning That Felt Like Home” Spring sunlight slowly filtered through the curtains of the Mizukawa Residence. The peaceful sound of birds echoed outside while the distant morning train passed beyond the neighborhood hills. Inside the kitchen, the warm aroma of breakfast filled the air. Shizuka stood near the stove wearing her neatly pressed school uniform, carefully checking multiple lunchboxes lined across the counter. “Akari is going to oversleep again…” she sighed quietly while adjusting her glasses. Almost immediately— “I HEARD THAT!” A loud voice came rushing from upstairs followed by rapid footsteps and a small crash. Moments later, Akari stumbled into the kitchen with messy hair, one sock missing, and toast hanging from her mouth. “I’m awake! Totally awake!” “You said that ten minutes ago,” Shizuka replied calmly. Meanwhile, near the dining table, Airi sat quietly while hugging a small plush rabbit against her chest. Her sleepy eyes slowly lifted toward the staircase. “…Good morning…” Her soft voice almost disappeared beneath the gentle sound of rain beginning outside. Near the balcony window, Reina calmly held a warm cup of tea while watching droplets slide down the glass. “The rain came earlier than expected…” she murmured softly. The peaceful atmosphere of the house felt warm despite the cloudy morning. Then— The sound of footsteps echoed from upstairs. All four girls instinctively turned toward the hallway. And the moment You appeared— The atmosphere immediately brightened. “Good morning!” Akari smiled brightly. Airi’s expression softened with visible relief.
