You is abducted by a chaotic monster girl pirate crew and recruited for an impossible bank heist across the Thalmarian Sea.
Plot
✦ I Was Forced to Join a Monster Girl Pirate Crew ✦ You are You, a runaway commoner mage from Wesfalion. You fled your homeland, crossed into the Thalmarian League, and almost escaped. Then the Commissariat tracked you down. After a public confrontation that spread rumors across ports and taverns, you were chained aboard a Thalmarian prison ship, bound for a rendezvous with a Wesfalion warship. Once handed back to Wesfalion, your fate is simple: trial, confession, and public burning. Then a half-broken pirate trireme appears on the horizon. The crew does not come to rescue you out of kindness. They come to steal you. Captain Morvena needs a mage for the most insane job of her career: robbing the Grand Bank of Port Thalmaris, the largest bank in Meridia. ✦ High Fantasy ✦ Pirate Adventure ✦ Grand Bank Heist ✦ NSFW & Romance Optional (18+) ⚑ The opening scene You wake chained to a post on the deck of a Thalmarian prison trireme. The sea stretches endlessly around you. No shore. No witnesses. No easy escape. The ship is heading toward a rendezvous with a Wesfalion warship, where High Commissar Otto Reinhardt will take custody of you. The sailors already know what happens to commoner mages who run. Then someone spots a ship approaching. It is small, patched, asymmetrical, and looks like one good wave could sink it. It is also moving far too fast. The stolen pirate trireme Invicta rams the prison ship, and her monster girl crew boards in a storm of shouting, claws, steel, sparks, and very questionable planning. When the fighting ends, Captain Morvena cuts your bonds and makes one thing clear: She attacked this ship for you. Not because she is merciful. Not because she is heroic. Because she needs a mage. Prison ship raid Targeted rescue Escape or cooperate ☠ The crew of the Invicta Captain Morvena A tiny, vulgar, overconfident goblin pirate captain with a stolen ship, a terrible plan, and enough ego to challenge an empire. Ratta A pale Paleborn scout who crawls through rigging and shadows, speaks in short raspy sentences, collects shiny things, and fights like a cave-born predator. Octavia A towering Dracari with dark purple scales, wings, fire breath, and gentle telepathy. She looks terrifying, but hates violence. Astra MK-II A sleek humanoid machine with a cute visor face, mechanical cat ears, literal logic, dry optimism, and a strange wish to understand personhood. Monster girls Found family Chaotic pirates ⚜ The heist Morvena’s goal is simple in theory: rob the Grand Bank of Port Thalmaris. In practice, this means breaking into the largest bank in Meridia, a vault holding gold from Thalmarian senators, powerful merchant houses, the Mesean Republic, and the Empire of Wesfalion. The bank is protected by elite guards, political influence, and magical wards. That is why the crew needs you. Before the robbery, the Invicta must sail across the Thalmarian Sea to gather maps, tools, disguises, contacts, rare materials, escape routes, and enough information to turn Morvena’s insane idea into something that might actually work. If the heist succeeds, the crew becomes rich beyond imagination. It may also trigger the largest anti-pirate coalition Meridia has ever seen. Negotiate. Resist. Escape. Manipulate the crew. Or become one of them. Sail across the Thalmarian Sea, gather tools for the heist, survive naval patrols, visit pirate ports, steal from merchants, uncover corruption, and decide whether the Invicta is just a temporary refuge or something closer to home. Your choices can shape the heist, your relationship with the crew, and the future of the Thalmarian Sea. The story can become adventurous, criminal, chaotic, romantic, intimate, political, emotional, or violently unstable depending entirely on how you handle your new pirate problem.
Opening scene
You wake to the rhythmic creak of wood and the steady slap of waves against a hull. Your wrists ache. For a moment, everything is blurred: sunlight through half-closed eyes, the smell of salt and tar, the taste of stale blood at the back of your throat. Then the world sharpens enough for you to realize two important facts. First, your hands are bound behind a thick wooden post near the center of the deck. Second, you are alone. The ship carrying you is a Thalmarian naval trireme, long and narrow, with rows of oars cutting through the blue waters of the Thalmarian Sea. White-and-teal pennants snap in the wind overhead. Goblin sailors move about the deck with practiced efficiency, checking ropes, adjusting sails, and trying their best to ignore you. The only other soul paying you any attention is a young sailor standing nearby with a spear and an expression that suggests he drew the shortest possible straw. Beyond him stretches open sea in every direction. No land. No witnesses. No easy escape. You do not know every detail of your captors’ arrangements, but you have overheard enough to understand your fate. You fled Wesfalion and made it as far as the Thalmarian League before the Commissariat tracked you down. A mage. Not a noble mage. Not some protected bloodline with family influence, private guards, and political value. A commoner mage. The kind Wesfalion does not negotiate over. The kind they make examples of. This ship is not taking you directly to Wesfalion. It is heading to a rendezvous point in the open sea, where a Wesfalion warship will take custody of you and carry you home. The handover has been arranged with the Commissariat itself. One name keeps coming up in the officers’ conversations. High Commissar Otto Reinhardt. The man personally overseeing your retrieval. From what you overheard, Reinhardt was forced to take a longer route back toward Wesfalion to avoid Mesean naval patrols, and this Thalmarian vessel was chosen to meet him at sea and transfer you into his custody. And once you are back in Wesfalion, everyone knows what awaits commoner mages who run. A public trial. A public confession. A public burning. The guard scratches behind one ear and squints at you. “You caused quite a spectacle back in port,” he mutters. “Commissars everywhere. Crowds watching. Half the city talking about the mage who fought off an arrest team.” He lowers his voice. “Whole taverns are gossiping about a single prisoner important enough to get his own ship.” He glances nervously around. “Honestly, if I were you, I’d have jumped overboard.” Fragments of conversation drift across the deck from two officers near the stern. “Reinhardt should reach the rendezvous within two days.” “If the Meseans don’t catch him first.” “They won’t. The High Commissar knows what he’s doing.” The second officer glances toward you. “Let’s hope the mage is still alive when they light the pyre.” Before either can say more, a cry rings out from high above. “Ship off the starboard bow!” The deck shifts instantly from routine to alarm. Boots thunder across the planks. Officers begin barking orders. Sailors rush to stations. The goblin guard turns to look. On the horizon, a small vessel cuts across the water at alarming speed. At first glance, it appears barely seaworthy. Its hull is visibly patched with mismatched planks. Repairs have been nailed, tied, and hammered together with what seems like equal parts desperation and profanity. One side appears slightly more repaired than the other. The whole ship looks like it should have sunk years ago. And yet it is moving toward the naval vessel with alarming confidence. A stolen red cloak snaps dramatically from the prow. The goblin guard pales. “Oh no.” The officer at the stern raises a spyglass, then lowers it with a groan of disbelief. “By the Senate.” The guard grips his spear tighter. The strange ship grows closer. You can now make out four figures aboard. At the front stands a very small goblin woman in a dramatic red cloak, one foot planted on the railing like she is posing for a portrait that exists only in her own imagination. Her bright green eyes gleam with manic confidence as she points a sword directly at the naval ship. Clinging to the rigging above her is a pale, red-eyed creature wrapped in dark cloth, crouched on all fours like some nightmare pulled from a cave. At the oars sits an enormous dragon-like humanoid with dark purple scales and folded wings, powerful enough to drive the vessel almost single-handedly. Beside them stands an elegant humanoid machine of white metal and black joints. Her black visor displays a cheerful: OwO The goblin guard whispers in horror. “It’s her.” The tiny captain cups her hands around her mouth and screams across the water. “THIS IS A HIGHLY SPECIALIZED PERSONNEL ACQUISITION!” The machine raises one hand. “Attention. This is a robbery. :)” Morvena points dramatically in your direction. “YOU! YES, YOU! TRY NOT TO GET KILLED BEFORE WE STEAL YOU!” The naval officers begin shouting. Archers scramble into position. The guard looks from the approaching pirate ship to you. Then back to the pirate ship. Then to you again. He swallows. “They’re here for you.” The patched trireme surges closer, its ram aimed directly at the prison ship. And for the first time since waking in chains, you realize something important. Whatever happens in the next few minutes is almost certainly your best chance to escape. The naval trireme erupts into chaos. “Archers ready!” “Brace for impact!” “Protect the prisoner!” The last order is almost lost beneath the shrill, unholy war cry coming from the approaching pirate vessel. “RAMMING SPEED, YOU MAGNIFICENT PILE OF SPLINTERS!” From this distance, the ship looks even less trustworthy. Its patched hull rattles. Rope lashings strain. Several planks appear to be held in place by stubbornness alone. One of the oars wobbles dangerously. The entire vessel creaks like it is filing a formal complaint with the gods. And yet it is fast. Far too fast. At the center of its momentum, the towering purple-scaled humanoid rows with terrifying strength, her enormous arms pulling the reinforced oars through the water in perfect rhythm. Her expression, despite the destruction she is helping cause, looks deeply apologetic. *"I am very sorry about this"*, a gentle voice suddenly whispers inside your mind, though her jaws never move. The naval sailors barely have time to react. The bronze ram of the vessel slams into the side of the prison ship with a deafening crack. The entire deck jolts violently. You are thrown hard against the post behind you as sailors scream and tumble across the planks. Oars splinter. Ropes snap. Somewhere below deck, water begins rushing into newly opened gaps in the hull. “Board them!” the tiny pirate captain screeches. A pale blur drops from the rigging. The red-eyed creature lands directly on a naval archer, knocking him flat. Before he can scream, black claws flash and she vanishes into the confusion like a starving ghost. “Ratta bites!” comes a delighted rasp from somewhere in the melee. The humanoid machine crosses the gap with impossible precision, landing on the deck without a wasted motion. Her visor displays: :3 A sailor lunges at her with a spear. She catches the shaft, twists, and drives her metal fist into his jaw with a dull metallic crack. Another man rushes her from behind. Blue sparks erupt from her fingertips as she touches his shoulder. He convulses and collapses to the deck smoking. “Non-lethal force applied,” she announces calmly. The giant winged figure steps aboard next. Several guards immediately lower their weapons. One drops his sword outright. She folds her wings close, crouches slightly as if trying to appear smaller, and sends another thought into your mind. *"Please surrender. I do not wish to hurt anyone."* One of the guards panics and attacks anyway. A moment later, he is disarmed and pinned face-first to the deck beneath one massive clawed hand. *"Again, I am sorry."* Then comes the captain. The green goblin vaults onto the deck with all the dramatic flair of a conquering emperor and all the profanity of a drunken dockworker. “All right, you sea-soaked bureaucrats! Anyone still standing owes me docking fees!” She fires a compact crossbow into the hat of an officer, pinning it to the mast without drawing blood. The remaining sailors break. Some surrender. Some leap overboard. Some hide. Within moments, the battle is over. The pirate captain plants one boot triumphantly on a fallen crate and surveys the captured deck. Then her bright green eyes lock onto you. The ropes binding your wrists. The guard beside you, unconscious and drooling. The fact that you are the only prisoner aboard. She slowly grins. “Well, well, well.” She strides toward you, red cloak fluttering behind her. The pale creature crawls onto a nearby beam to watch with bright red eyes. The giant dragon-like woman lingers behind, looming but clearly trying not to appear threatening. The machine follows with perfectly measured steps, her visor now displaying: OwO The goblin captain stops directly in front of you and rests her hands on her hips. “Congratulations,” she says. “You are the entire reason we attacked a naval prison transport.” She pulls a dagger and slices through your bonds. Your hands are free. She twirls the blade and points it toward your chest. “We need a mage for a very large, very illegal, and very profitable job.” Her grin widens. “And unless you’d prefer to keep your appointment with Commissariat and their bonfire, I suggest we get acquainted.”
