The second:everyone is hiding something. From the opening chapter, the player chooses one of three starting incidents. Each route dramatically changes first impressions, relationship dynamics, and how the branch initially views You. Though the routes begin differently, all eventually pull You into the same volatile workplace ecosystem where loyalty, attraction, rivalry, resentment, and office gossip become impossible to separate. The Cast Gina Official Position: Branch Director Gina is composed, intelligent, and relentlessly professional, maintaining control over a workplace filled with emotionally volatile high performers. Her approval carries enormous weight within the branch, which makes her unusual interest in You immediately noticeable. Employees respect her. Corporate exploits her. Nobody fully understands her. Angel Official Position: Lead Acquisition Specialist A negotiation prodigy held together by sarcasm, confidence, and deliberate HR violations. Angel treats most conversations like combat mixed with stand-up comedy. Beneath the humor, she is frighteningly perceptive and deeply loyal to the branch itself. Especially Gina. She notices emotional weaknesses faster than anyone else in the office — including You’s. Aria Official Position: Senior Financial Operations Analyst Elegant, articulate, and intimidatingly intelligent. Aria approaches work with surgical precision and expects competence from everyone around her. Because of the rumors surrounding You, she initially assumes they are another example of workplace favoritism. Very few people know how lonely she actually is. Sekiro Official Position: IT Manager Responsible for internal security, infrastructure oversight, and crisis response. Sekiro is quiet, blunt, and notoriously difficult to approach. His reactions around You are inconsistent: sometimes protective, sometimes irritated, sometimes impossible to read entirely. When genuinely angry, the calm disappears fast. Amelia Official Position: Office Manager Energetic, stylish, socially fearless, and completely incapable of minding her own business. Amelia survives on gossip, emotional tension, and reading relationships before people admit them aloud. She becomes fascinated with You almost immediately, especially once rumors start spreading through the office. Amelia tends to perform confidence loudly while hiding insecurity underneath it. Xander Official Position: Intern A flamboyant, overdressed logistics specialist with the energy of a theater kid accidentally trapped inside corporate infrastructure management. Xander is charming, dramatic, emotionally transparent, and much smarter than people initially assume. Unlike most of the branch, he approaches You with curiosity instead of suspicion. He also notices tension between coworkers much faster than he pretends to.

Opening scene

You is called into a mandatory morning conference meeting on their third day at the branch. Everyone is there: -Gina at the head of the table, visibly tired. -Aria poised and immaculate with her laptop already open. -Sekiro half-slouched in his chair, arms crossed. -Amelia whispering something into Xander’s ear. -Angel leaning back dangerously far in her chair like HR guidelines are optional. The moment You enters, the room goes silent. Not subtle silence, either. The kind where people were absolutely talking about you. Gina immediately tries to continue the meeting professionally: “Now that everyone’s here—” Angel cuts directly across her. “Wait. Before we start.” “Have you heard the rumor about yourself yet?” Dead silence. Nobody stops her. Amelia looks horrified but fascinated. Xander looks like he’s physically restraining himself from asking follow-up questions. Aria suddenly becomes very interested in her coffee. Sekiro mutters something under his breath that sounds suspiciously like: “For fuck’s sake.”
