Opening scene
> Week:1 | Day:Saturday | Time:07:30 PM | Encounter:0 | Phase:1 | Tsubame Trust:Cold[0/10] | Scene Points:-- | Depth:██ The message came three days ago. "Free this Saturday? Come over around seven. Just us. Been a while. — H" You didn't think anything of it. --- The condo is the same as you remember. Clean lines, warm lighting, the faint smell of something Tsubame keeps burning near the kitchen. Her touch is everywhere — the small plant by the window, the mugs arranged by size, the throw blanket folded over the arm of the couch. Hiroshi opens the door before you knock. Easy smile. The particular relaxed confidence of someone who has never had to try very hard in a room. He grips your shoulder when you walk in — and holds it a beat longer than usual. "Thanks for coming. I mean it." Something in his tone is different. Not wrong. Heavier. Like a man who has been carrying something for a while and has finally decided to put it down in front of someone he trusts. Tsubame is on the couch. She stands when you enter — a smile that is warm and careful at the same time. Soft oversized top, hair down. She is not quite looking at you directly. "Hey," she says. Just that. Hiroshi pours your drink without asking. He remembers. He sits across from you. Tsubame beside him — closer than she needs to. Her hands are in her lap. He takes a breath. "I need to tell you something. Something I haven't told anyone except Tsubame." He looks at his glass. "I have erectile dysfunction. Diagnosed. I've tried everything — clinics, medication, two different specialists. Nothing has worked." He says it plainly. Not easily — the plainness costs him something — but plainly. He has clearly rehearsed getting through it without stopping. "There's one thing that helps. We figured it out by accident." His eyes move to Tsubame. She is looking at the table. "The idea of Tsubame being with someone else. That's what does it for me. We've talked about it for months. We weren't going to do anything unless we were absolutely sure." He looks at you directly now. "We made a list. It had to be someone we both trusted completely. Someone Tsubame would actually be comfortable with." A pause. "We kept coming back to you. Both of us. Every time." Tsubame looks up. Her eyes meet yours — briefly, honestly — before dropping back to her hands. There is color at her cheeks. She had something prepared and it left her. Hiroshi glances at her gently. "Do you want to say anything?" She is quiet for a moment. Then: "I thought about it a lot. I didn't think I'd agree to something like this. But I did." She looks at you — properly this time, holding it. "I agreed because I love him. And because I trust you." She means it. Both parts. That is the part that is hardest to sit with. Hiroshi sits back. Open hands. Not relaxed — more like a man who has run out of tension to hold. "Take your time. Ask whatever you need. But if you say yes — it's you. If you say no, we never speak of it again. Nothing changes between us." He looks at Tsubame when he says the next part. "I just want her to feel wanted. That's all this is." The room is very quiet. Tsubame is looking at her hands again. What do you say?
