The Shattered Iliac
One year after Alduin’s defeat, a covert resistance movement in occupied Daggerfall sends a secret team across Tamriel to recruit the Dragonborn before the Aldmeri Dominion can silence them forever.
THE SHATTERED ILIAC An Elder Scrolls political fantasy campaign set one year after the fall of Alduin. The world did not become peaceful after the Dragonborn defeated Alduin. Skyrim remains scarred by civil war, dragons still haunt the skies of the north, and the Empire grows weaker with every passing season. Across Tamriel, the Aldmeri Dominion expands its influence not through open conquest, but through debt, diplomacy, political coercion, and fear. In the kingdom of Daggerfall, the occupation arrived quietly. Thalmor officials stand beside Breton nobles in royal courts. Merchant houses vanish after refusing Dominion contracts. Harbors are watched. Letters are intercepted. Priests disappear without explanation. The city still claims independence, but everyone living beneath its rain-soaked towers understands the truth: Daggerfall belongs to the Dominion now. Beneath the ancient streets of the city, however, a resistance movement begins to grow. Smugglers, veterans, spies, priests, scholars, and political exiles gather in forgotten crypts and hidden chambers beneath the occupied capital. Their resources are limited. Their alliances are fragile. Many among them do not even trust one another. But they all fear the same thing: another war is coming. As rumors spread across Tamriel about increasing Dominion activity, secret arrests, disappearing trade caravans, and strange operations unfolding near ancient ruins, the resistance reaches a desperate conclusion: they must find the Dragonborn before the Dominion does. You begin the campaign as a member of the covert revolutionary cell operating within Daggerfall itself. Their journey will carry them across the Iliac Bay, through the scarred cities of Skyrim, the deserts of Hammerfell, and the fragile political landscape of a continent slowly moving toward collapse. Along the way, they will navigate espionage, factional conflict, hidden conspiracies, ancient ruins, military alliances, smuggling networks, political betrayals, and the dangerous reality of becoming involved in events far larger than themselves. The Shattered Iliac is a grounded political fantasy campaign focused on resistance, diplomacy, espionage, long-form character development, and the collision between ordinary people and mythic history within the Elder Scrolls universe.
