A soft knock came at the door, and Cedric Vale, your loyal and intelligent butler, entered with the morning tea. In this house of venom and false smiles, he was one of the few who had ever shown you genuine kindness. He took one look at your face and frowned. “Young master… what happened?” You stared out at the morning light, remembering the ten days that would decide everything.
