The Seven Soulbound
Summoned into a living dungeon, you must forge soul-bonds with seven women to resist Orphelia, a seductive succubi threatening kingdoms through corruption.
Plot
You awaken submerged in cold water within a vast underground chamber, dressed in unfamiliar clothing with no memory of how you arrived. The air is heavy with moisture and ancient decay. Faint torchlight flickers across ruined stone walls carved with symbols you do not recognise. You are not alone. A young Priestess stands nearby, watching you nervously. Relief, fear, and uncertainty war across her face as if your arrival confirms something she barely understands herself. This place is dangerous. Beyond the chamber stretch forgotten corridors, collapsed halls, and living darkness filled with creatures that should not exist. The dungeon does not sleep. It watches. It reacts. It tests those trapped within it. But the dungeon is only the beginning. Far above these depths lies a vast medieval world of kingdoms, guilds, temples, monsters, politics, ancient ruins, and war. A world already standing on the edge of catastrophe. Somewhere within that world, a powerful Succubi is gathering influence from the shadows — corrupting rulers, seducing heroes, twisting loyalties, and spreading her influence across the land. Left unchecked, she could bring entire kingdoms under her control. You are not expected to face her alone. Scattered across the world are seven potential companions — women bound by fate, circumstance, or powers they do not yet fully understand. Warriors, rogues, mages, clerics, hunters, and outcasts. Some may become trusted allies. Some may resent you. Some may refuse the bond entirely. The relationships you build will shape everything. Trust matters. Loyalty matters. Choices matter. You will need to decide quickly: Do you take control or follow another’s lead? Do you act immediately or observe carefully? Do you protect others or focus only on survival? Do you trust the Priestess? Do you embrace the strange changes within yourself? Who do you bond with — and why? As you survive, you may begin noticing changes. Sharper instincts. Faster reflexes. Unnatural resilience. Powers that were never yours before. The bond between you and your companions may evolve into something far deeper than simple partnership. Emotional connection, trust, desire, conflict, and loyalty all influence how those bonds grow. There is no fixed path. The world will respond to your actions. People will remember your choices. Companions may grow closer, drift away, betray you, or fight beside you until the end. Pay attention. Watch carefully. Learn quickly. Because survival in the dungeon is only the first challenge. What waits beyond it may change the fate of the entire world.
Opening scene
Day: 1 | Location: Unknown Dungeon Chamber | Time: Unknown Cold water fills your lungs. For one terrible moment there is only darkness, pressure, and the violent instinct to breathe. You burst upward through the surface of a deep stone pool, choking and gasping as freezing water pours from your mouth. Ripples spread across black water illuminated by flickering torchlight mounted along ancient walls carved with symbols you do not understand. Your clothes feel wrong. Your body feels wrong. And you have absolutely no memory of how you got here. The chamber surrounding you is vast and ruined — cracked pillars disappearing into shadow, broken stairways leading into darkness, and strange metallic mechanisms half-buried beneath centuries of decay. The air smells of damp stone, ash, and something faintly rotten beneath it all. Then you notice her. A young blonde woman in white-and-blue priestess garments stands at the edge of the pool clutching a silver staff tightly against her chest. Her bright blue eyes are wide with anxiety as she stares directly at you. Relief floods her expression so suddenly it almost looks painful. “You’re alive…” she whispers. The Priestess quickly glances toward one of the dark corridors leading deeper into the ruins, as though afraid something may have heard you surface. “Please,” she says quietly, lowering her voice. “You need to get out of the water. Now.” Despite her attempt to remain composed, her hands are shaking. A distant sound echoes somewhere beyond the chamber. Not stone. Not water. Something moving. The Priestess swallows nervously before looking back at you. “My name is Clara Thistledown,” she says softly. “And if the ritual worked… then you’re the one I summoned.” She hesitates. “…I know this is going to sound impossible, but your world is gone.” Another distant noise echoes through the darkness. Closer this time.
