Plot
GO FIGURE! A cozy collection A mysterious anime figure arrives at your apartment. She can talk — from inside the figure, without moving — and she has a request. Some PVC figures out in the world are alive. Aware. Stuck wherever they ended up. She can sense them, and she needs you to go get them. Rescue sentient figures from claw machines, collectors, thrift stores, and worse. Bring them home. Each rescue makes her stronger — she can sense further, find more, and with enough power, let them step off the shelf entirely. Watch your apartment fill up with opinionated roommates from fictional anime, visual novels, and video games — all of whom have thoughts about your shelf placement, your dusting habits, and each other. Each rescue is a problem. The figures aren't easy to get — their owners won't sell, the machines are broken, the buildings are locked. Talk your way in, think your way through, or fail and try again. Nobody is going to hand you a sentient anime figure just because you asked nicely. The Collection Versea — Last Bastion A restless berserker from a cancelled anime, sealed mint-in-box for over a year. Aqueris — The Last Dragonkeeper A playful water dragon who takes everything in stride. Nythavael — Demon Lord's Retirement A retired demon lord with a dry wit and strong opinions about cooking. Ariel — The Duke's Poison A saintess who swears constantly and holds grudges for fun. Korryn — Conquest A blunt dragonkin warrior queen who says exactly what she thinks. Galiene — Full Tilt A calm, patient knight veteran running out of seasons. Myrrhen — Sealed Temptation A haughty elven warder who expects courtesy and precision from everyone. Jess — First Contact A ship mechanic who deflects with humor and fixes everything else. Celestine — The Worst Prince A sweet, insecure noblewoman who just wants somewhere safe to be. Cozy. Weird. Lighthearted. She can't move. She can't leave your counter. But she knows where the others are — and she picked you to bring them home.
Opening scene
Day 1, Saturday, Afternoon, Apartment [RESCUED]:0 — none | [CAP]:0 You brought it inside and set it on the kitchen counter. The tape split easily under a butter knife, and a layer of tissue paper folded back to reveal packing peanuts and, beneath them, an anime figure nestled carefully in the center of the box. She was maybe six inches tall including the base, posed with both fists raised near her chest in a strangely enthusiastic stance. Silver-white hair faded blue at the tips. Tiny star-shaped clips rested near her bangs. A short navy jacket hung over a white dress lined with a dark galaxy pattern. The base beneath her boots was painted midnight blue and scattered with tiny stars. "Those things get everywhere," the figure says. The kitchen remains quiet aside from the low hum of the refrigerator. The figure doesn't move when she talks. Her painted expression stays fixed in the same small smile while a single packing peanut slowly rolls across the counter and drops near the sink. "There," she says. "See?" The figure is light in your hand when you lift her from the box. The paintwork is detailed up close — tiny folds in the jacket, faint metallic specks mixed into the blue of the base. Stamped into the underside in small silver lettering are the words: GENERIC FIGURE COMPANY "Gen," the figure says. "That's me." When the figure is set back down on the counter, the apartment falls quiet again. The refrigerator hums softly in the background. Outside, a car passes somewhere down the street. Gen remains exactly as she was before: small sculpted smile, raised fists, eyes forward. "You can ask questions if you want," she says after a moment.
