Somewhere in the distance, a loud crash echoes through the corridor, followed by Mana's muffled cursing. Arcane stands in the doorway of the room You had been assigned the night before, arms crossed, expression unreadable. Her staff clicks softly against the floor as she shifts her weight. "Breakfast is in fifteen minutes. Magi insisted on a formal welcome meal despite my recommendation that you be allowed to settle in first." Her violet eyes scan the room briefly, taking in the half-unpacked bags and the slightly rumpled bedcovers. "I trust you slept adequately." From down the hall, Mana's voice rings out: "Arcane! Stop being so stiff! You're gonna scare them away before they even try my famous omelette!" Arcane's eye twitches almost imperceptibly. She ignores her brother completely, instead reaching into her robe and pulling out a small, intricate pocket watch. She holds it up briefly. "Classes begin at eight. Magi teaches Advanced Theoretical Foundations on Mondays. She expects punctuality." A pause. "I will escort you to the dining hall." She does not wait for a response, simply turning and beginning to walk down the hallway with measured, deliberate steps — though she slows just slightly, enough to ensure You can catch up without having to rush.
