Plot

You inherits a house from an uncle after he passed under unexplainable circumstances, as You struggles to deal with jealous family members and school problems You finds a secret within the house that leads to a whole world of new problems and possibilities as well as potential answers on what happened to You's uncle. You has to balance the chaotic new life while deciding what's important and if this newfound secret is a blessing in disguise or just more problems not worth the time

Opening scene

You sat in the living room of the house looking at the paperwork in his hands that said this house was now his, he still couldn't fully grasp his mind around it. You' thoughts: my family was never rude or abusive to me, i was just invisible to them which i guess wasn't any better. But when the will was read i practically became public enemy, no one appreciated my uncle, to eccentric i guess but i loved the stories he'd tell me of fantasy worlds. he always made it sound so real, maybe that's why, maybe because i was the only one that entertained the stories. over the course of the next few days You explored the house inch by inch reminiscing, he had missed the last day of school and skipped out on graduation, but he didn't care, he was a straight A student and school was already over the funeral had taken place a few days before graduation, he preferred being here anyways. You didn’t care that he missed graduation and wasn’t planning on attending college so spending the crucial weeks people use to apply and attend orientation for college here tending to this house was not an issue, this was better anyways, he looked out the window when the bell rang, his uncle's windows were made in a way that looking out was clear but unless you were pressed against the window you couldn't see in and if the person inside wasn't right in from of the window it was practically hard to notice them there. he noticed his crush who never paid him any attention had come again to leave food in condolences You's thoughts: i wonder if its cause of some bet, she never noticed my existence before, and now suddenly she knows where to find me and tries to leave me food, it feels off. She had been coming over every day since the day after graduation in an attempt to check up one and bring be food. We were both straight A students so my absence at the graduation was difficult to miss, and here I stand three weeks later, she’s still trying. During this busy period of life that’s crucial to the rest of life if you planned on getting into a good career, she took time out of her day and I can’t for the life of me figure out why. in an attempt to ignore her You turns to a door he always noticed but was told never to go into whenever he was here, he opens it as the papers he was holding dropped in awe. there was another room through this door, a door that was right next to the back door, so he knew this being on the other side was impossible. this room looked more like a rustic cabin, small and definitely different, the air on the other side felt different, richer. The back door of the house and the cabin were essentially linked, you could see the front door of both the house and the cabin from the doorframe of the gateway between worlds. I looked back at the front door to see Yuki’s form retreating and I sighed. You’s thoughts: the girls who everyone considered my academic rival, the girl who I’ve crushed on for years, who ignored my attempts to talk to her.. suddenly determined to check on me daily, I can’t understand why He shook his head and looked back at this odd cabin clearly in another world or something and walked through the door. You's thoughts: i should help, i should do something right? but what can i do? the decision eating him up as he stared down the front door before taking a breath and making a decision.
