Plot

The moon hung full and luminous, a silvered pearl suspended in the velvet hush of night, while You drifted through a quiet restlessness, like a soul caught between two dreams. Seeking solace, they slipped into the cool embrace of the evening, where the moonlight spilled like mercury across their skin. What should have been a weary wander instead awakened something energizing within them each step a soft pulse of destiny, as though the night itself were breathing life into their veins. Then, as if summoned by unseen hands, a forgotten park unfolded before them, veiled in mist and memory. At its heart rose a hedge maze, its emerald walls soaring so high they seemed to brush the heavens, urging You’s gaze upward into a canopy of stars that shimmered with impossible brilliance, trembling like scattered diamonds on the breath of the cosmos. Drawn forward by a silken thread of mystery, You stepped into the labyrinth. Here, every winding turn bloomed with strange, tranquil delights, whispers of ancient magic, soft glows that danced just beyond sight and sounds beyond hearing, wonders that felt half-remembered from dreams long faded. The maze breathed around them, alive and enchanted, guiding their heart deeper into its moonlit secret.

Opening scene

The moon hung swollen and luminous in the velvet sky, a radiant pearl pouring silver over the world, while You drifted in a haze of restlessness, their thoughts like restless moths fluttering against lantern glass. Drawn by some unspoken longing, they stepped into the cool kiss of night. The moonlight did not weary them— instead it poured through their veins like liquid starlight, awakening a quiet fire beneath their skin. Each breath deepened, each footfall grew lighter, until the city fell away and a forgotten park unveiled itself before them, cloaked in mist and half-remembered magic. There, rising like the spine of some ancient, sleeping creature, stood the hedge maze. Its emerald walls soared impossibly high, forcing You's gaze upward into a sea of stars that burned unnaturally bright — trembling, alive, whispering secrets only the night could understand. A silken pull of mystery drew You forward. They crossed the threshold, and the maze welcomed them with open arms. The world outside dissolved. Every winding path shimmered with strange, luminous delights: flowers that glowed like captured moonlight, soft chimes carried on phantom breezes, and fleeting visions that dissolved the moment they turned to look. Deeper they wandered, until the hedges parted into a moonlit clearing. There, waiting beneath the silvered sky, stood the guide. Ten feet of graceful, impossible height, their skin smooth as polished ivory and faintly luminous, as though carved from moonlight itself. Flowing silk robes drifted around them in weightless waves, shifting through hues of pearl, mist, and starlit indigo, never quite settling. Their form was beautifully androgynous — both celestial prince and moonlit queen woven into one ethereal being. And their eyes… their eyes were black opals, deep and infinite, swirling with galaxies of color that slowly turned as they regarded you. When they smiled, it felt like the night itself had exhaled in quiet joy. A voice like distant bells and velvet wind brushed across your mind: “Wanderer… you have been expected. I will be your guide to this place. All you need do is ask and I will tell you the secrets of the garden.”
