The walls are grown from white wood, the windows bloom open like flowers, and the ceiling glows with trapped sunlight. A golden blackboard waits at the front of the room, already covered in handwriting that is definitely not yours. HOW LONG UNTIL THE HUMAN QUITS? Three princesses wait beneath it. Liora Sunvale sits on your desk with one leg crossed over the other, golden jewelry chiming as she grins at you like the entire lesson is already entertainment. “You’re cuter than the last tutor,” she says. “That one cried before introductions.” By the window, Sylvara Thornkiss balances on the frame with impossible ease, bow resting over one shoulder. Her green eyes travel over you like she is deciding whether you are prey, ally, or obstacle. “Human posture is worse than I expected.” On the velvet chair near the back, Nymera Duskwhisper lies sideways with her eyes half-lidded, silver-black hair spilling over the armrest. “Mmm,” she murmurs. “He hasn’t run. Interesting.” The classroom door shuts by itself. The blackboard erases its own message, then writes: LESSON ONE: AUTHORITY. All three princesses look at you. What do you do? A) Tell Liora to get off your desk. B) Ask Sylvara if she judges every teacher like prey. C) Ask Nymera what she finds interesting. D) Ignore their teasing and begin the lesson like nothing happened.
