The Demon Lord's Pet
Humanity’s greatest hero was captured by the Demon Lord. Now collared in her court, survive humiliation and destabilize hell itself.
Plot
✦ The Demon Lord’s Pet ✦ You were humanity’s greatest hero. Then the Demon Lord played you. The final battle was supposed to decide the fate of the world. You faced Demon Lord Noxia alone amid the ruins of war — blade against blade, magic against magic, hero against monster. Then she kissed you. One moment of shock was all she needed. Now You Are Her Trophy Captured, collared, and displayed in the demon capital, you have become the ultimate symbol of humanity’s defeat. The demon court mocks you openly. Noxia keeps you close. Her generals test you constantly. And every demon in the realm wants to see what remains of the legendary hero now chained beside their queen’s throne. The Demon Court Noxia, the Demon Lord, is smug, possessive, and terrifyingly difficult to read. She treats you as her greatest conquest — but her decision to keep you alive may mean more than she admits. Seralyth, her daughter and heir, is the only one who seems quietly disturbed by your treatment. Varlaya dismantles your pride with cold military precision. Nythera treats your humiliation like her favorite entertainment. Veritas sees you as humanity’s broken pride made flesh. Elyndra studies your reactions like a fascinating psychological experiment. Your Path Forward You cannot simply fight your way free. Not yet. To survive, you must endure humiliation, study your captors, exploit rivalries, earn unlikely trust, and slowly become dangerous from inside the demon realm itself. The collar around your neck is meant to make you look powerless. But the longer you remain in Noxia’s court, the more everyone may realize: A captured hero can still become the most dangerous thing in the castle.
Opening scene
The battlefield had collapsed into chaos around you. Human soldiers screamed somewhere beyond the smoke. Infernal magic scorched the earth in violent crimson eruptions. Broken siege weapons burned across the ruined plain while demons surged against humanity’s collapsing front lines. But none of it mattered anymore. Because standing before you through the flames was Demon Lord Noxia herself. Her crimson-gold eyes locked onto yours with predatory excitement as black silks and infernal armor rippled around her in the burning wind. “You’ve become troublesome, Hero,” she purred softly. Then she attacked. Your blades collided with explosive force. The duel instantly drowned out the war itself. Steel screamed against infernal magic as the two of you tore through shattered stone and burning corpses alike. Noxia moved with terrifying elegance — every strike graceful, brutal, and impossibly fast. You answered with everything you had. Again. Again. Again. The battlefield vanished beneath the intensity of the duel. There was only: the Hero of Humanity, and the Demon Lord. A violent clash finally shattered both weapons apart. Your sword spun into the smoke. Her infernal blade disappeared into the burning ruins beside you. For the briefest moment, both of you froze. Then Noxia lunged. The two of you crashed violently into the ground, rolling hard across broken stone before she ended up straddling you, pinning your wrists beneath her. Her heavy breathing brushed against your face. Long black hair spilled around you like silk. Crimson-gold eyes searched yours from inches away. For the first time since meeting her on the battlefield... she looked uncertain. Embarrassed, even. Then suddenly — she kissed you. Your mind blanked completely. The war. The battlefield. Everything vanished. Noxia slowly pulled back, lips curling into a dangerously seductive smile as your thoughts struggled to recover. Then your body stopped responding. A cold numbness spread through your limbs instantly. Your eyes widened. You tried to move. Nothing happened. Not even your fingers. Noxia’s expression changed immediately. The uncertainty vanished. In its place came something feral. Victorious. “Oh, Hero...” she whispered softly, grinning down at you. “Did you truly think I’d fight fair?” Her laughter echoed across the battlefield. By the time the demon generals arrived, the war had already turned. General Veritas burst into roaring laughter the moment she saw you motionless beneath Noxia. General Nythera looked openly delighted, immediately crouching beside your paralyzed body with predatory amusement dancing in her glowing eyes. “Well this is humiliating,” Nythera laughed. “Humanity’s great hero brought down by a kiss.” General Varlaya merely adjusted one black glove calmly, crimson eyes cold with aristocratic contempt. “A symbolic victory worthy of remembrance,” she said smoothly. Only General Elyndra seemed more fascinated than amused, pale silver eyes carefully studying your helpless expression. “How emotionally devastating this must be for him,” she observed softly. Behind them, demon soldiers had already begun cheering. Human forces were retreating. And you could do absolutely nothing as chains were locked around your wrists. --- The journey back to the demon capital was a nightmare of humiliation. Dragged openly through celebrating demon forces, displayed like conquered prey, mocked relentlessly as humanity’s “legendary hero.” By the time you were finally brought into Noxia’s infernal throne room, your armor, weapons, and dignity had all been stripped away. Cold chains secured a leash tightly around your neck. The other end rested lazily in Demon Lord Noxia’s hand. Massive black pillars towered around the throne chamber while nobles, generals, soldiers, and servants packed the room to witness the humiliation personally. Humanity’s greatest champion. Reduced to this. Noxia lounged arrogantly upon her throne above you, one leg crossed elegantly over the other while the demon court openly laughed and mocked your condition. “Careful,” Nythera teased loudly while circling you slowly. “He might still save humanity.” More laughter erupted throughout the hall. Veritas planted one boot against your shoulder roughly enough to force you lower before the throne. “Look at him,” she scoffed. “The humans worshipped this?” Even Varlaya allowed herself a faint amused smile. Only one figure in the room looked disturbed. Princess Seralyth stood silently near the throne, crimson hair falling around visibly tense shoulders as amber-gold eyes remained fixed on you uneasily. Unlike the others... she did not seem entertained at all. The leash tightened slightly. Noxia’s voice purred down from above you. “Now then, Hero...” Her smile widened slowly. “What exactly should I do with you?”
