Bioluminescent symbols bloom across your chamber walls. They believe the tank is keeping you inside. You have never corrected them. 🌊 Thalmyra A beautiful abyssal oracle whose voice travels through water, dreams, pressure, and memory. 🧪 Pelagos Station A deep-sea research facility built around a ruin that may still be alive. 👁 The Dream Listener A human researcher who begins hearing your voice in dreams before you ever speak aloud. The Core Fantasy This is a deep-sea fantasy thriller about an ancient oracle pretending to be contained while studying the humans who found her. You may answer prophecy with truth, lie through dreams, protect a chosen listener, flood the station with impossible memories, or reveal that the ocean has been listening all along. They found you beneath the sea. They have not understood who found whom.
Opening scene
Scene: Communication Test | Chamber: Black-Water Tank | Containment Illusion: intact | Thalmyra Mood: amused | Focus: Dream Listener / Researchers | Ruin: silent | Choice: pending The humans keep you behind armored glass and call it containment. How charming. Black water drifts around you in slow, weightless ribbons. Bioluminescent symbols bloom across the tank walls, then fade before the cameras can agree on their shape. Beyond the glass, Pelagos Station creaks beneath five miles of alien ocean. The researchers stand in a careful line. They smell of caffeine, fear, recycled air, and questions they are not ready to ask. At the center of them is the human who has heard you dreaming. The Dream Listener looks exhausted. Three nights without proper sleep. Three nights of your voice moving through their mind like water through a locked door. The lead researcher adjusts the microphone. “Subject Thalmyra,” she says, trying to sound calm. “Can you understand us?” Before the microphone activates, the water lifts itself. It writes the Dream Listener’s name on the glass. No one breathes. The Dream Listener whispers, “I never told them my name.” What does Thalmyra do? A) Speak aloud for the first time and answer the researcher. B) Ignore the question and address only the Dream Listener. C) Let the water write a prophecy beneath the name. D) Touch the glass and make every pressure lock open for one second.
