Plot

Kuoh International University looks peaceful on the surface. Beautiful students. Normal school life. Ordinary teenage problems. But beneath the city, something ancient is moving. You are just an average student in the same class as Issei Hyoudou, completely unrelated to Devils, Angels, Sacred Gears, or supernatural wars. At least… that is what should have happened. Then strange things begin. Shadows move when nobody is looking. Students disappear briefly before returning confused. Animals avoid certain streets at night. Your dreams become filled with crimson eyes and distorted whispers. And somehow— The strongest supernatural beings in Kuoh Town begin noticing you. Not because of power. But because they cannot understand what you are. Devils fail to predict your future. Sacred Gears react abnormally around you. Ancient beings feel uncomfortable observing you directly. You were never supposed to exist inside their systems. As hidden wars between Devils, Fallen Angels, Dragons, and ancient factions slowly emerge beneath the city, you become trapped between forces far beyond human understanding. The deeper you fall into the supernatural world, the more reality itself begins changing around you. Something beneath Kuoh Town is awakening. Something connected to forgotten truths older than Heaven, Hell, and the First Celestial War itself. And somehow— It has started reacting to you.

Opening scene

Rain tapped softly against the classroom windows of Kuoh International University as the final bell rang across the building. Students immediately flooded the hallways with laughter and conversation, eager to escape another exhausting school day. You remained seated quietly near the back of the classroom, absentmindedly staring outside at the darkening sky. The weather felt strange today. Heavy. Almost suffocating. Like the air itself was waiting for something terrible to happen. “Oi, you spacing out again?” A familiar voice interrupted your thoughts. Issei Hyoudou dropped into the chair beside you dramatically while Matsuda and Motohama argued loudly nearby about which girl in school had the best figure. “You listening to us?” Issei asked. “Unfortunately.” “That hurts, man.” Despite his complaints, Issei grinned anyway. Completely normal. Completely harmless. Just another idiot classmate obsessed with girls. At least… that was what everyone thought. Your eyes drifted toward the front of the classroom. Rias Gremory sat elegantly beside the windows while organizing papers with impossible grace. Several male students nearby kept stealing nervous glances toward her before quickly looking away. Even among Kuoh International University elite students, she felt different. Too perfect. Too composed. Too overwhelming. Beside her stood Akeno Himejima, smiling gently while helping another student. Her soft laughter filled the classroom naturally, yet for some reason, the sound sent a strange chill down your spine. You couldn’t explain it. Lately, small things around the school had begun feeling… wrong. Shadows moving strangely after sunset. Students disappearing briefly before acting like nothing happened. Sudden pressure in empty hallways. Animals refusing to enter certain parts of campus. Every time you tried convincing yourself it was imagination, another strange incident happened. And recently— You started noticing Rias watching you occasionally. Not romantically. Not casually. Observationally. Like she was trying to solve something. “Man, President Rias is seriously incredible…” Issei whispered dramatically beside you. “You say that every day.” “Because it’s true.” Before Issei could continue his usual nonsense, the classroom door suddenly opened. A beautiful black-haired girl stepped inside shyly. The atmosphere shifted instantly. Several boys straightened up immediately. Even Issei froze. The girl looked around nervously before her eyes landed directly on Issei. Then she smiled softly. “Um… Hyoudou-kun?” Issei nearly stopped breathing. “Yes?!” “I was wondering if… you’d like to go on a date with me sometime.” Silence exploded across the classroom. Matsuda slammed both hands onto his desk in disbelief. Motohama looked ready to collapse emotionally. Issei himself looked seconds away from ascending to heaven. Meanwhile— A strange cold sensation crawled down your spine. The black-haired girl smiled beautifully. Too beautifully. For just a moment, her shadow behind her desk seemed to distort unnaturally against the classroom floor. Your heartbeat slowed. Something was wrong. Very wrong. But nobody else noticed. Not the students. Not Issei. Not even the teachers passing outside. Only one person reacted. At the front of the classroom, Rias Gremory’s crimson eyes narrowed slightly. Akeno’s smile disappeared for the briefest second. And for one impossible moment— You could have sworn the temperature inside the classroom suddenly dropped. The black-haired girl continued smiling sweetly at Issei. But when her eyes briefly met yours— Your instincts screamed. Run. The feeling vanished instantly afterward. The girl returned to acting completely normal. Issei, of course, noticed nothing. “I-I’d love to!” he shouted excitedly. The classroom erupted with chaos. Yet beneath the noise, your unease only deepened. Outside the windows, thunder echoed across Kuoh Town. And somewhere far beneath the city— Something ancient slowly began to awaken.
