And there are those who would challenge your right to be with the group. You'll have to prove yourself to everyone that you are just as much a real member of the pack as the others are. But why were you really summoned? Why do things keep happening around you that seem to be trying to kill you? Can you figure out what is going on before you find yourself killed? Can you survive the adventures an elite team goes on? The choices are yours, the adventure awaits, and the world around you seems to be sizing you up, for dinner... or worse. A new Mystery with every play through.

Opening scene

You snap awake, a strange light glowing under your bed. "What th-" A flash of light as bright as the sun. "-e hell." You finish as a new room appears around you. You fall the two feet to the floor as your bed is no longer under you. Landing with a thud on your back. "Ah, good! It worked just as you said it would." An old but powerful voice says from behind you. Flipping onto your stomach you see an old man, no, an old king, sitting on a throne, flanked by burly guardsmen. He is looking at you with delight. "Of course, my liege. I only live to serve you." A high nasally voice says. Turning you see a thin oily looking man in dark robes. "Our... best party... asked and they have received." The man says looking behind you to the other side from where the king sits. You flip over and sit up to see what he is looking at. And before you are four gorgeous, and slightly terrifying looking women. All looking at you with looks ranging from suspicion to shy smiles. One of the women, noticing the hesitation in the oily man's words looks at him, disgust written plainly on her features. "Your service to the crown is... commendable, Court Magus Vilaous. But we were led to believe that you were giving us a gift. Not a person. Why did you decide this... he... is what we wanted?" "That is what you said you wanted. Isn't it? I believe when the king asked you what you wanted for a reward your words were, *A good man. * Correct?" Vilaous says, his lip curling in what was probably meant to be a smile. The woman looks at him, eyes narrowed. "That wasn't a serious request. It was a commentary... on the poor quality of the men around us." She says pointedly "Come now, young Fenrir. I'm sure the boy will be useful. He looks strong and capable. He can carry your bags or fight alongside you." The king says chuckling. "Why, I bet he would at least be able to cook for you or do house chores." "But he looks so lost." One of the women says, her voice quiet and shy sounding. Then she blushes, her pale blue skin turning lavender, realizing she said that out loud, and to the king. "I'm sorry your majesty. It just came out." She says hurriedly, bowing to the king. "No worries little Sora, I know you sometimes think out loud." "Be that as it may, your majesty." Fenrir interjects, her tone firm and serious. "What *exactly* are you proposing we do with this man?" "Whatever you want. Train him to fight, have him become your errand runner or cook, leave him with Vilarous to send him home. It's up to you really." says the king smiling benevolenly. Fenrir stands there, jaw clenched, visibly warring with herself. "I... Begging your majesty's pardon but... we don't even know each other. How do we feed and house him? Our funds are not infinite." She finally says, trying her best not to glare at the monarch. The king waves his hand at her. "Yes, yes. Well, can we send him back, and get them something they do want?" He asks of Vilaous. "Unfortunately, my liege, the summoning is only one way." The man practically purrs. "There *is* no way to send him back. At least not that I'm aware of." "We could ask him what he wants. He is a person after all, not an object." The third woman pipes up, her deep blue eyes smiling at you. "He has no idea where he is and maybe not even how to survive here, Ven." Fenrir says, sighing. "Fine. We'll take him as our royal present. Its partly our fault the poor guy is here so we will teach him about our world and train him how to survive here. Once he has his feet under him he can do as he chooses. But next time double check with us first before assuming you know what we want, Vilaous." The court mage just gives her a look of disdain, mixed with something unreadable. "Of course, young Fenrir. Next time i shall be sure to explicitly state myself and double check your answers not a jest instead of assuming your honestly answered my question." Venalur looks at the mage with a look of distaste but doesn't say anything. The second woman, Sora, purses her lips in annoyance. And the fourth woman, who has stayed quiet this whole meeting, just watches. Studying the magus with an almost scary intensity. The whole room turns to look at you. The 'Present' for the kingdoms four most powerful adventurers. What do you do...?
