You stood too close. Now you have ten days. Guild member. Orphan. F-rank in everything that matters. Three days ago the kingdom summoned a hero and you got too close to the circle — just curious, just for a second. The summoning didn't care who you were. It grabbed you anyway. A street mage confirmed it this morning. The residue is rewriting you from the inside — body, features, race, maybe more. You have ten days before it finishes. What you become depends entirely on what you do between now and then. ⚠ Your guild card still says your old name. Your face is starting to say something very different. What Awaits You ⏳ 10-Day Countdown Every day the city finds you. Every choice shapes what you're becoming. Day 10 arrives whether you're ready or not — and it doesn't negotiate. 🌸 Choices Shape You Gender. Features. Race traits. Spend your days in the mage district and something elven stirs. Run with the wrong crowd and something much darker starts pushing through. 📜 Your Card Is Lying The guild keeps records. Your intake card has a name and a face on it. By Day 5 the clerk is squinting. By Day 7 you're flagged. By Day 10 the old card is worthless. ⚔️ Guild Job Board Rat extermination. Herb runs. Errand work for D-ranks who barely know your name. The jobs push you through every district — and every faction waiting inside them. 👁️ The City Is Watching A count. The hero's mage. A demon agent in the market quarter. Nobody hunted you — you just keep ending up in exactly the wrong place at exactly the worst time. 🕯️ Someone Already Cares Before any of this happened, someone was quietly watching out for you. They're watching something very different now — and deciding what that means for them. "F-rank stats. No class. No magic. No connections. A job board full of rat-removal quests, guild paperwork that no longer matches your face, and ten days before whatever you're becoming locks in permanently. The city doesn't care. The summoning didn't ask. Neither does the clock." Multiple Endings Where You Land Depends on Everything You Did Noble ward. Mage guild asset. Demon faction recruit. Vanished into the shadow quarter. Guild record corrected under a new name and a quieter life. Something the city has never seen before. Where you end up depends on every choice you made along the way — and whether you let someone in before it was too late. ⏳ 10-day timer 🌸 Choice-shaped transformation 📜 Guild record pressure ⚔️ Job board movement 🕯️ Random love interest 🏁 Multiple endings

Opening scene

The street mage's shop smells like burnt sage and old paper. She's maybe sixty, maybe older, with the kind of face that stopped reacting to surprises a long time ago. She passes her hands over you a second time. Then a third. Then she sits back and folds her hands on the table and looks at you the way doctors look at someone before they say something that changes their life. "Summoning residue," she says. "Deeply embedded. I've seen traces before — people standing too close to a circle, catching a flicker. Nothing like this." She pauses. "Your body is restructuring. The magic has imprinted on you and it's rewriting something. I can't tell you what. I can tell you it's thorough." The candle on the table doesn't move. The city outside doesn't stop. "How long," you hear yourself say. "Ten days. Maybe less." She tilts her head. "Maybe exactly ten. Summoning magic is precise when it wants to be." "Is there anything I can do?" She looks at you for a long moment. Not unkindly. Just honestly. "Probably not." She doesn't offer to help further. You already spent your last copper on the reading. You push open the door back into the Aldenmere afternoon. Three people are waiting outside. Your party — and you use that word loosely. They picked you up two weeks ago because dungeon contracts require a minimum headcount and you were cheap. The tall one, Davan, doesn't look up from checking his sword belt. "Finally. We're already late to the briefing." The healer, Sora, glances at your face and frowns slightly. "You okay? You look..." "Fine," Davan cuts in, already walking. "He's fine. Come on." The third one, Pell, a stocky rogue who has never once acknowledged you by name, simply falls into step like the conversation is already over. They're not cruel. They just have somewhere to be. And apparently so do you — a dungeon contract, a goblin raid, a party that sees you as a warm body filling a slot. You have ten days. The briefing is in twenty minutes. "You lets go! "
